CM-400 is far far more advanced than india's bhramos whatever missile:

It travels much faster (Mach-4) and similar range (300km range limited by international pact, can be extended to much more), and much compactly design than bromos.

Each FC-1 can carry 2 CM-400 missiles, whilst the much heavier Su-30MKI can only carry a single bhramos whatever.

But it is more like a BM with a semi ballistic like trajectory which is easily detectable and track able on IR and Radar sensors, not a cruise anti ship missiles and as per global security and other sites its terminal velocity (diving) is Mach 5.5

.
According to this, the CM-400 may have a top speed of Mach-5, so this is enough a counter for India's next gen Russian developed-India-fianced Bramos-2 whatever:lol:

It is much smaller than your ususal ballastic missiles, thus much harder to detect, and to reach Mach-2.8, bramos have to travel at high trajectory as well.

Besides, since when Ballastic missiles are easier to deal with? If ballastic missiles can have the accuracy enough to shot moving targets, then it is the most dangerous weapon, thats why the US worry the Chinese AShBM the most, to the degree they are thinking about retreat most of their navy assert and push submarine according to RAND's report.

If AShBMs are enough to make the US Navy give up their thought on putting their surface ships against China, CM400 is enough to deal with anything indian may have, their navy dont even have a functional complete fleet air defence system.

yes iknow bro its has to go well above 30000 -40000 feet to increase that speed of mach 5.5 and at that speed and altitude it can be easily detect on the radars and IR sensors because of frictions and can be intercepted by BARAK-8 and Brahmos cruising altitude is just under 3000 meters

Maybe easier to detect, but harder to do anything about it, especially with india's mach-2 70km-ranged toys:lol:

Pakistan has neither purchased not bought CM-400 AKG. These screenshots are from last year test. When China was testing CM-400 AKG for another customer

Barak 8 is Mach 2 so it cannot intercept.
:disagree: but not necessary to counter CM-400 with same speed, CM-400 is/will be closing inn for kill with a speed of Mach-5.5 and you fires BARAK-8 with speed of MACH-2 headon, so speed doesn't matters for BARAK-8:agree:

CM-400 is not a maneuverable missile :disagree: yes harder but not impossible bro

Are you sure, because this news say China already sell them to PAF:

Chance is small China test CM400AKG on FC-1 for another customer, since the only customer of FC-1 is PAF.

you are wrong. I will answer you in sometime why.

If this is case, why not making NMD missiles subsonic? why anti-ballastic missiles all have very high top speed?

The exact reason for high-speed is not just it give them for room to catch and take on ballastic missiles, but also more window of inteception to deal with them before it is too late.

Btw, hardly any missile defence system depend on "head-on" attack on predictable trajectory since advanced ballastic missiles, even during re-entry phase, can change its trajectory, so you need very high speed to adjust for your missiles to deal with it.

@pakistanipower Please research again CM-400AKG is also known as YJ-12 so you are wrong the missile is better and deadly than Brahmos. YJ-12 can also cruise as well.
