Sri Lanka may join Shanghai Cooperation Organization
(SCO).

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is an intergovernmental mutual-Security organization which was founded in 2001 by the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

SCO Full time members - China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan,

Take it easy, China and Pak will not allow India expansion in Sri Lanka
Other East Asia Countries will not allow to.

Because if India fully control the South India ocean,
It will greatly threat the other countries's ocean transport
(especially for the east asia nations)
