It is the same Tu-16 variant. If China had Tu-22M Backfire or Tu-160 variants people would be more concerned. Even those bomber designs pale in comparison to modern B-1/B-2 bombers

Well the message is pretty clear, no matter how much army India is trying bring to Tibet border or military build up, China can offset and nullify Indians advantage with H-6 strategic bombers: India keys targets are withing H-6 striking range by staying safe withing Chinese borders. Imagine a raid of 20 H-6 carrying 6 cruise missiles each , we can literately destroy 120 Indians high value targets and if China perform 10 sorties per day we will destroy all Indians keys military all alone the border.
