China CZ-2C rocket launch FAILED on Aug 18 2011

The difference once, as soon as the Chinese rocket went up, 1 second later, everyone knew it was going to crash.

At least the India rocket was in path for 30 seconds.

those two accidents in 1990s are the worst in chinese space project history``but those fireworks from india are very common, once in a while. and indian's mentality is 'if our common failures look better than others' worst then we are better hence space power' thats why people apart from indians laughing your areospace programs are jokes`

i did post this once and got banned....i wrote that failure is first step towards success and china also achieved success with initial failures :)

atleast our rockets don't kill our people :)

with all the wasted money on those fireworks surely indian's annual death from starvation will be much much less than 3 millions``

the Chinese manned moon mission is on rumor stage yet. CZ-5 is not enough for that kind of project. its stupid to think send a man to moon would mean anything to China, US has done it 40 years ago, the second round of visiting moon should be for tourism only.
China and India both working on developing staged combustion cycle Liquid oxygen/ Liquid hydrogen rocket engine. other major space players US Russia Japan French have it long ago.
India has ion drive on their satellites, like all other major space players, China has yet to have it.

BS..
YF-73 LOX/LH2 powered upper stage Long March (rocket family) since the 80's
YF-75 ...90's
YF-50t
YF-77 ...for LM-5

Who said their manned moon mission is using CZ-5?

There is only one single asian nation that ever sent men to space, it is called China.
There is only one single asian nation that maintain 94% launch success rate, it is called China.
There is only one single asian nation that launched 100+ times, it is called China.
There is only one single asian nation that has the capacity to launch 3 times in a week, 20-30 times a year, it is called China.

Russia certainly occupies Asia as well. Because their capital is closer to Europe, does that mean Russia isn't part of Asia?

The only nation that doesn't have failures in rockets are those that don't build rockets. It's part of the process. But financially, it can be extraordinarily painful, when you have payloads worth hundreds of millions (if not billions) of dollars, become ash and dust.

^Russia is and always has been considered as a European country, it does has vast territories in Asia, but population wise more people live in European part than Asia. I think that same kind of situation apply to Turkey as well, part in Europe, part in Asia, so EuroAsia country.
