Do China have any choice other than Supporting India ? Chinese tried everything to stop India from getting into UNSC . Which is well known . But now things have changed . Chinese don't want to seen as jealous with rise of India . All other supports India's role at the global stage . So i don't think you got any other option but to support India. Are openly seen as Enemy no1 for India. Which will give more sympathy toward indians .

On various issues the alignment now is that of P5 is US, France and Britain on one side and China , Russia on other side.

Addition of India will counter balance things.

Bro look at the larger picture . If Brazil India gets power of Veto it's will make BRICS a powerful counter weight against the west . BRICS will grow it's influence even further .

Change your thinking. If you start thinking of being a counter weight to Nato or the EU, our future is limited.


India has to change it slave mentality and looking to others for acceptance to some degree. We have a culture that has used marijuana for various purposes yet we signed a law that makes it illegal. Amsterdam was the only nation for sometime to stand up to this. Now look at the West. They start realizing the benefits of Marijuana and arresting ppl for it makes no sense. Now they are engaged in cutting edge research whereas our gov't has not even allowed laws to be passed to jump in this direction. Our gov't has never paid attention to anything.

I dont blame Modi. The guy has a shitload of change to bring about.

WE already moved on from being Non Aligned to Multi Alignment . We can play a great role for peace and stability of the world . Our powerful influence is far greater than Chinese
So we can play greater role in prevailing peace in SCS region with Western powers and act as respectable friend for russian and Iran in the same time . China can't play this role . Only India can .

China became UNSC permenant member only by 2004 if am not wrong .Say thanks to Russia. Since China was a puppet of Russian policy Russians was willing to give Veto power to Chinese . As you sad India don't have any hate towards West like Chinese do for no reason. Russia and west has history of wars and stuff I really wonder why China hate US and the West . Do you know why ? Because u just want to be seen as another important player .U are wasting money like things to achieve which was already achieved by West 5 decades ago . As for saying why China hates the west or saying they hate the west just becuase they want to be seen as important player, hmmmmmm.......i dont even know how to begin to answer this, since its a funny statement. Well wont want to dwell too much on this. will just say, China doesnt have a choice anyway, they have grown too big too fast, so obviously they will be seen as a long term threat to the establish power i.e U.S/west. Even if/when India does become as big and powerful as China today(and i think it will in coming decades) India will also be seen as a threat, especially if India wants to shake off the current world order. So i think its better for India to keep being neutral or inclined more towards the U.S/west, since we in the west/U.S have much more common interests with India than China/Russia do. So will be better for India to keep looking after its own interests, which means allying/partnering with the U.S/west/Japan, it has moiore to gain by doing so, instead of siding with a declining power like Russia and an authoritarian country like China with whom it still has a land border dispute meanwhile China has resovled its land border disputes with ALL its neighbours even with Vietnam and Russia(with whom it fought wars more recently than the one it fought against India way back in 62), so seems they are in no hurry to solve this issue with Indi. So India should choose wisely.

By the way im for India having a permanent seat in UNSC, since India is too big/populous not to be included, its not fair at all. Well to be honest this world/politics has never been fair in the first place.

The Chinese will hate anyone who will challenge their position & their proposed status where they will lead the world & yes we will remain neutral & let you guys (China,Russia & West play) with the world.Our Partnership with the West is what me must concentrate on (Not forgeting Russian in btw) becuz let's face it West ows every controls the world right now & will continue to do so in the future for a very long time,this whole talk of China surpassing West sounds all very good & jolly & Asian not to forget(Mark my words the Chinese will do the same thing the Japanese did during the early 20th century under the banner of Asian Pride)Long story short when you have a power as strong as China in your backyard you need a ally like the West to counter it.
