Lets say a satellite busts into 10.000 parts. You do realize that evry single part will travel with 28.000 km/h in its new orbit for decades. One satellite will take out ten others. Those ten others will take out another 100...it grows exponential.

This "bullshit weapon" will destroy your own satellites and evry other thing in orbit. Only the most retarded of all retards would consider using something like this.

Well, if you are referring that incidence of testing. That's just detail. Could it have been done better? Probably. I guess we could've tested/demonstrated such capability without actually destroying an object in space. But, asymmetric war fare is a Chinese national strategy. Anti satellite weapons are effective and relatively cheap. So sadly, unless the big powers all stop using all satellite assisted military actions, China will continue to develop and mature the anti satellite technology. Hopefully, like you and others have said, we human species will be smart enough to avoid killing off each other.
