RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif has visited Tilla ranges near Jhelum to review the war exercises of Pak-Army on Wednesday evening.

According to ISPR reports, Gen. Raheel visited the Tilla ranges to review the overall progress of war trainings of Pak-Army. During his visit, field commanders gave a detailed briefing about the ongoing war trainings.

After reviewing the progress, army chief also appreciated the hard work of armed forces.

SONMIANI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has said that the country is facing serious threats and the officials and troops of Pakistan Army need to be prepared all time – ARY News reports.

According to details, Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif visited the Sonmiani ranges, in a coastal town Sonmiani in the southeast of Balochistan province, approximately 145 kilometres northwest of Karachi, where he observed air defence exercises of the Pakistan Army.

On this occasion, the COAS said that the country is facing multidimensional security challenges and the officials and troops of the Pakistan Army need to be prepared all the time, keeping in view the security threats posed to the state.

He urged the personnel to take their training standards to the best.

General Raheel Sharif urged for high quality training to be the first priority for the accomplishment of mission.

RAWALPINDI, Apr 11 (APP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif on Friday visited Sonmiani Ranges and witnessed air defence firing exercises. Full range of Air Defence Weapons including guns and surface to air missiles were used in the exercise. The COAS greatly appreciated the professionalism of participating units and standards achieved in engaging aerial targets. While interacting with the troops, the COAS reiterated that the multidimensional security threats, faced by the country, required a high state of preparedness at all times. “Highest standard of training and professionalism must remain our hallmark to accomplish the mission,” he emphasized. Earlier, on arrival at the Range, the COAS was received by Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahid Latif Mirza, Commander Army Air Defence Command.
