Chief of Army Staff confirmed death sentences awarded to 10 hardcore terrorists

Today Chief of Army Staff confirmed death sentences awarded to 10 hardcore terrorists, who were involved in heinous offences related to terrorism, including killing of innocent civilians and attacking Pearl Continental Hotel Peshawar as well as Law Enforcement Agencies/Armed Forces of Pakistan. On the whole, they were involved in killing of 62 persons including 5 civilians, 11 police officials and 46 Frontier Constabulary/Armed Forces Personnel. The convicts also include terrorists who killed renowned Qawwall, Amjad Farid Sabri. Arms and explosives were also recovered from their possession. These convicts were tried by special military courts. Besides, 5 convicts have also been awarded imprisonment.

Detail of each case is attached.
1. Muhammad Ishaq S/O Muhammad Ibrahim and Muhammad Asim S/O Abdul Rehman. Both the convicts were members of proscribed organization. They were involved in killing of a renowned Qawwall namely Amjad Farid Sabri and attacking the Law Enforcement Agencies/Armed Forces of Pakistan, which resulted in death of
17 officials. They were also found in possession of fire-arms and explosives. The convicts confessed their offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. They were awarded death sentence.
2. Muhammad Arish Khan S/O Muhammad Aslam. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Pearl Continental Hotel, Peshawar, which resulted in death of 4 civilians. The convict confessed his offence before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
3. Muhammad Rafique S/O Hameed Khan. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, which resulted in death of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Yousaf,
Assistant District Officer (Frontier Constabulary) Karim Khan, Naib Subedar Fazal Wahid, Naib Subedar Muhammad Fayaz alongwith 16 soldiers and injuries to 3 other soldiers. He was also involved in the abduction of civilian Muhammad Ali, for ransom. The convict confessed his offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
4. Habib Ur Rehman S/O Khoba Gul. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, which resulted in death of Lieutenant Colonel Anwar Abbas alongwith 3 soldiers and injuries to 15 others. He was also involved in collecting funds for the terrorist activities. The convict confessed his offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
5. Muhammad Fayyaz S/O Gul Faraz. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, which resulted in death of Naib Subedar Fateh Muhammad, Havildar Pervez Iqbal, Havildar Basharat Ali, Police Constable Saleem Khan and
4 other soldiers. The convict confessed his offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
6. Ismail Shah S/O Nek Badshah. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in killing of Naib Subedar Nasim Khan and also attacking the Armed Forces of Pakistan. The convict confessed his offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
7. Fazal Muhammad S/O Abdul Mateen. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Armed Forces of Pakistan which resulted in death of Naib Subedar Fateh Muhammad, Havildar Pervez Iqbal, Havildar Basharat Ali and 5 other soldiers. The convict confessed his offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
8. Hazrat Ali S/O Muhammad Ali. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, which resulted in death of Havildar Wahab Ali and 3 other soldiers. The convict confessed his offence before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.
9. Habib Ullah S/O Anwar Baig. The convict was a member of proscribed organization. He was involved in attacking Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, which resulted in death of a police constable and injuries to another official. He was also involved in the destruction of 3 Compact Disc Shops at Akora Khattak. The convict confessed his offences before the Judicial Magistrate and the trial court. He was awarded death sentence.

I am against the death penalty under all circumstances.
It is a con and a get-out for politicians to distract the public from their failures to create a just and equal society.
Gullible masses always fall for this con-trick as always.

Yes, I was against the hangings in BD as I am against the death penalty under any circumstances.
I would like nothing better than for BD to abolish what I consider a barbaric practice.

I fully endorse these actions by the army it has become very important that the Pakistani society understand major crime will have major consequenses.

Wonderful , but why just 10 ? lets hang them all together ... these low life scum bags has no place in modern Pakistan
