Cheapest cars in Pakistan/India/Bangla/China

Dahe-Hatchback-PakWheels_(1).jpg

United Bravo 799cc
PK rs 985,000 without registration
I will not pay a single penny for this junk bloody a peace of tin.

chinqchi is made in Pakistan i rather go in chingchi than these expesive box which they called a car.

Mehran have been discontinued since early this year now lowest suzuki car is alto almost 12lac. So like you said only option is used market or wait for this chinese car

cost 850,000 launch i think 2020
And that lowest Alto is without AC, power window etc.
Even its top end 1.5 Million + don't have back view camera, Fog Lamp, Alloy Rim & Spare Tyre. Even these Small Chinese Car Companies have them.
Road Prince Pearl will be around 1 Million.
The reason is because most cars if not all 'joined together' in Pakistan come ready made from abroad. That means they are subject to price fluctuation with rupee exchange rate. If car parts were actually made inside Pakistan and done so efficiently then prices would be lower [ worker wages in Japan, Germany etc are at least 5 times higher] as wages are lower in Pk. But since we have automafia in Pakistan the result is what you see. That is why I want to see prices in India etc to see how bad the mafia is in Pakistan.
Big 3 did nothing except making more and more money but we should also not forget that Buyers are also responsible. Making Mehran a no. 1 Car in Pakistan. A 2nd Gen Alto because its parts are cheap. . Now we have so many car companies that i highly doubt we will see any major local parts in future.
Foreign parts are expensive because of taxes. Our local industry labour might be cheap but Electricity is very expensive.
This is £4,876 UK Sterling. This mafia robbery money ...[/QUOTE]
No worries we prefer 660cc Alto which is more expensive and even its top tier(1.5M+) lack some features which are present in this Chinese Car.

No offense to Chinese people, the people I have been around specially young, they wont be comfortable with Chinese cars, specially if they come with a price tag of 800,000 ..

Todays Chinese Car are not only cheap but also comes with all Standard features present in European Car + 5 Star in Safety.
But these 2 Chinese Car United Bravo and Road Prince Pearl belong to Small Chinese Companies & their main business is in EV.

The wheelbase for Arrizo5 should be 2670mm.

Depending on the size, power of the engine (turbo charged or natural aspiration) and the features... etc.. Really a matter of cost effectiveness.

For different segment:
Corolla sized: Cheapest should be BYD F3, the average price is around 37,000 cny or ~5200USD. It is a 10+ year old model, copied from old gen Corolla, 1.5 liter engine, you got basics like ABS... Just a car for get from point A to point B, not much to expect:
autohomecar__ChsEmF2epfuAZ-f1AAZ6KOe1g7k667.jpg

Baojun 310W is cheap also, MSRP from 42800 cny or ~6100 USD. Pretty basic, 4620*1710*1555 mm in size with a wheelbase of 2750
autohomecar__wKgHGFsRaKKANPqFAApPhf8USlg859.jpg

For MPVs, this one is among the cheapest:
Carry K50, MSRP starts from 39,999 CNY or 5700 USD
4501*1790*1760 in size, with a wheelbase of 2755mm. Suspension similar to sedans.
Configuration and features are pretty basic, with ABS... 1.5 Liter engine...
autohomecar__wKjBwVoKeNSAQij6AAfScTKsp0I491.jpg

This Enranger 727 with similar size and specs cost the same (MsRP 5700USD):
autohomecar__ChsEmV1pCR2Af7G_AAsGJjqirrM396.jpg

For SUVs,
size larger than ford Ecosport:
Zotye T300
autohomecar__wKgHzFjrlGyAJFOQAALbV1D718I405.jpg

MSRP starts from 45,900 cny or 6,500 USD
4405*1830*1640mm in size with a wheelbase of 2,610mm
However, this company is having trouble recently...

Then you have BAIC beijing-x3: MSRP 49,999 CNY or ~7,100 USD
autohomecar__ChsEnl0c1MqAHG3AAAj5lSIILD8553.jpg

4325*1830*1640 in size. electronic stability control comes as standard. 1.5L and 1.5 turbo charged engine available.

Then, for Honda CRV sized SUVs,
The most cost effective ones should be:
Haval M6: MSRP starts from 66,000 CNY or ~9400 USD
autohomecar__ChsEl12e7HqAdc61AAj4UeJZg2M831.jpg

4649*1830*1705 in size, with a wheel base of 2680mm
1.5 liter turbo charged engine, electronic stability control comes as standard, four wheel independent suspension.

Than for Highlander sized ones:
autohomecar__ChcCr13050aAFaaUAAhW8CebVwk335.jpg

The Jetour X70M MSRP starts from 64,900 CNY or ~9200 USD
1.5 Liter Turbo Charged engine. 4755*1875*1710 L*W*H in size and a wheelbase of 2745mm 4 wheel independent suspension as well.

There are bunch of CRV sized SUVs with smaller engines like 1.5L engines usually starts from 5,9000 cny or ~8500 USD...

There are small cars, but nearly all of them are EVs today... Petrol cars smaller than Toyota Corolla are not popular.

Then, we have the poor men's vehicle:
The MINI Van. This one with a MSRP starts from 25,900 cny or 3700 USD

Where have you mentioned Nano car?
As of Jan 2019, TATA stopped mfg new nano models and neither is there any news of it either shutting down its production or restarting the assembly. So, not counting that.

This is UK £3,225. Is this the cheapest vehicle in India equivalent to the United Bravo at 800cc?

The Renault Kwid appears to be a car few classes above United Bravo.

₹315,488.00*

https://www.cardekho.com/renault/renault-kwid-specifications.htm
If we compare the specs of kwid and bravo, Kwid certainly has the better engine. Bravo is a bit wider and taller, so may have more headspace and more space available to seat 3 at the back, but then the leg space is probably more in Kwid.
After that, I cant find detailed features on bravo. But Kwid does come with besides the usual such as air bags, power windows, sat nav, android auto, apple car play, voice commands...For the price, Kwid is one loaded car. There is another in this segment now, Maruti's S-presso, its a few 10k higher in price but has much nicer interiors and much more space

- PRTP GWD

No Nano production since Jan. Only 1 unit sold since the last 6 months. I wanted to include cars which are being bought by people

Looking at this it just exposes the automafia that has Pakistan hostage. These cars are class above and of superior quality to the shoddy death traps being sold to the Pakistani customer. Just shocking and they are cheaper in India !
I totally agree the auto-mafia has clipped the Pak auto-industry. Maybe the Chinese could launch a couple of their brands to reduce the influence of Japs in your market but again I heard, the lower end of Chinese cars aren't good either.

A segment higher and there are even better offerings in India, particularly from Tata, Hyundai & Maruti Suzuki which most Indians end up buying. Now that Kia has launched a huge line-up in 2019 and also opened their $2bn plant in South India, it's picking up at good pace as well and a good competitor to it's sister brand Hyundai

Id like to see the interiors of all other chinese cars mentioned here. At 7.1k, it doesnt have a digital infotainment system, that means even basic stuff such as sat nav and phone connectivity isn't there.

Yes. Indeed. For some time I have been aware that car buyers in India get a far better deal. I suspect if cars could be smuggled, by now we would have mass scale car smuggling into Pakistan. I think Indian's dont understand how bad the situation. Calling this a automafia racket is probably being too soft. The reality is worse.

To begin with we don't have a car industry. What we have in Pakistan is akin to the ready made shalwar kameez industry. On every street corner in Pakistan you will have old man sat on his chair sewing away. As you know we call them darzi. The car industry is like darzi cottage industry only it is manipulated by automafia whereas darzi's operate pretty well in a open market.

There are more car so called manufacturers then the number of cars 'made' in Pakistan. The word 'made' being pushed here. To have car industry you need steel industry, plastics industry, specialized auto glass industry, specialized auto electronics industry etc. We have non of these. What we have foreign made cars imported in kits and then screwed togather in Pakistan at ridicalous mark ups giving the racketeers huge profits.

Think of all the 10,000 of lives lost on Pakistan's roads over the last two decades because of the poor shoddy products lacking basic protection and poor drum brakes. It is a crime honestly. These people have not only fleeced but murdered etire families. But the automafia has huge political footprint so I can't see any government doing much well into the future ...

And Pakistan is a very 'auto country'. Minimal investment has been made on railways. Indeed they have been left to stagnate. All investment is on roads and motorways. By now the country has probably the best mororway/road infra in South Asia. But sadly the customer is being let down by the auto so called industry ...

Ps. Thanks to everybody for their contribution here. I am a proper petrolhead and cars are my passion. A open road, a good car is my idea of heaven. It's freedom ...

The SUVs I listed in my post#20 all have 8 inch screen comes as standard even for the cheapest model. For example, the Beijing X3 has 8 inch screen as standard for the $7K model. The safety features are also very good with electronic stability control ESC for all models. including the cheapest model.

Same for the Haval SUVs, etc...

The higherlander sized Jetour SUV has 10.1 inch screen as standard for all models start from 69999 cny or ~9999 USD
upload_2019-12-30_9-33-9.png

The Nissan Qashqai sized SUV Zotye T300 also has 8 inch screen for its 45900 cny or 6500 USD model:

For the $5K models, you got basic safety features such as ABS, and a 1.5 liter engine Corolla sized car or even larger MPV, what else do you require?

you are right, the 7.1k version does not have the screen for navigation and connectivity. The specification I showed refers to the entry variant, you can get more features by paying more.

I guess you will feel more disappointed to see the specification of Tata Nexon. The entry trim, Nexon XE (price 658,457 Indian rupee, or 9.2k USD), does not offer the navigation nor phone connectivity. It even does not offer FM/AM radio nor speakers! In addition, driver seat height not adjustable, rear window up/down manually.

What??? No power windows???
Even power windows are luxury, what else can we expect??
And for 9.2K USD for that little midget SUV is insane...
We can get a SUVs two segment larger with more powerful engines and whole lot more features...

Car price in india is cheaper compared to some countries, including PK. But compared to China, it is insane...

Yes, it appears that while India leaves Pk way behind in the auto sector but China leaves India way behind. I am surprised that given the close relationship between both countries has not been leveraged to help the Pk customer.

I am surprised as well, since there is no mainstream Chinese car companies (models) presence in PK... Maybe there are some interests groups among your car industry who is preventing it from happening, I guess.

We have all range of cars from low end ones I mentioned above to high end to the very high end ones... Traditional engine cars, EVs, PHEVs, etc. etc....
Here are just very a few of our ~1,000 models from hundred of Chinese car companies:

the specification list of Tata Nexon. I highlighted some very basic elements that are surprisingly missing. That's really a big shock considering that this car is priced at USD 9.2k

upload_2019-12-30_10-33-37.png

The rear braking system is even a DRUM brake, not disc brake. What?? That's insane. That's a robbery! Drum disk as standard for all trims, even the top trim that is priced at USD 15.5k!! how could Tata offers drum brake to its customers???
