Samajwadi Party is one of the most pro-jihadi parties in India. It has several cases of loot, poll booth raids, threatening and intimidating voters to vote for them and has an army of goons. Now if we were not a democracy right now, they would have been exterminated.

But as per our processes, we have to wait for a slower, longer process if we have to deal with scum like these. Not just him but our ex-national regime, Congress, whose minister recently support terror attacks in France, and a pain-in-the-butt hag in our state of West Bengal, because of whom, our entire region (northeast India) is in a mess.

There are minor confrontations during moharram procession else things are quite peaceful, nothing of the sorts that's happening in our western neighbourhood. Things won't escalate to such levels as long as there is a big non Muslim majority which is seen as a common adversary , hence the need for both sects to at least pretend to stand together. The non Muslim aka the kaafir is a necessary evil for both sects to prevent them from going for each others throats.
