Change of guard in Pakistan- Indian perspective

Imran Khan lost respect when he avoided mentioning the persecution of Uighurs. Friendship with China and Russia apparently mattered more to him than the lives of ordinary people including Pakistanis.

His removal from power is good for the region and especially Pakistan. As his ego driven actions created bad blood with all .
Thank you for letting us know the obvious. Whats good for India cannot be good for Pakistan. IK will be back. Just wait and watch1

Now that pti is out of power in Pakistan, how is the government change going to effect India's relations with Pakistan.
My perspective -
Imran's actions -
1. Broke off all relations with India using kashmir as a crutch.
2. Created new issues like junagarh, to perpetuate disagreements with India beyond kashmir.
3. Stopped all trade , except medicines which Pakistan needs.
4. Extensive propaganda against India in all international forums.
5. Targeted western countries, using religion, creating divisions with them ,which is good for India.
6. Created rifts with China, again good for India as even China saw him as a unreliable ally.

Changes i see -
1. Trade to restart, especially cement which was a major export to India. Cement prices in India are red hot due to massive infrastructure development and private sector demand.
2. SAARC summit in Pakistan will be attended by India.
3. Token support for Kashmir to continue as the kashmir policy is under the establishment, so continuity is ensured.
4. Cricket relations might start with a Indian tour of Pakistan.
5. Pakistan to leave grey list , not good for India if pressure reduces.

conclusion - Imran was rabidly against India. Chose to break off relations with India under some excuse. He is a mirror image of the extreme hindu outfits, with a rigid one track mind.
His removal from power is good for the region and especially Pakistan. As his ego driven actions created bad blood with all .

I thought u guys wanted imran khan to stay? Was that all fake? In reality u guys were ringing mandir bells praying for him to go. 😂

Imran's best Actions ( in favor of India ) :

1. Keeping Quiet with Article 370 Removal ( excpet for the usual lip service )
2. Making peace with India ( No Firing at LoC ). This is no small feat.
3. Maintaining Peace even when attacked with a Missile
4. Publicly Praising India and its Policies

You cant Ignore these.
Modi's favours to Pakistan:
1. Turning India into a communal shithole
2. Re igniting the Kashmir insurgency
3. Humiliating Indian military
4. Destroying India's image in the world
5. Uniting China and Pakistan in taking military action against India
6. Turning India into the very thing it whines about Pakistan being.

Yet he is the most popular choice in India, not just because most Indians are Hindu Nationalists, but because the opposition is corrupt and useless.

You Indians are lucky your Establishment is neutered compared to Pakistan's. It has allowed your country to progress.

Why expect a person with experience in a sport to be a great administrator ?
In any job a qualification or skill set is expected . But not to hold a portfolio in Government.
Imran is a good opposition leader , where the only requirement is to keep the government on his toes.
But in government you have to implement actual change in the ground. Which a guy like nawaz did by making Pakistan a power surplus country in a few years. Not perfect as Pakistan has too many gas powered generation but still not a bad job.
I can't think of a single on the ground improvement imran made . All he made were castles in the air. And spoilt relations with his loose tongue and ego.

their foreign minister is on tape saying " see how i tricked India by opening the katarpur corridor ".
It was a attempt to create fissures in India, not to help the sikhs.

That is complete BS, post the recording

....and no some Indian outlet claiming that he said so is not a reputable source

I think that the new administration will have its hands full trying to deal with political and economic stability in Pakistan. SS may not have the leverage in domestic politics to change things with India.

Infact, Pakistani society is highly polarized now with their assembly almost equally divided between two camps. I expect a policy paralysis on all fronts until a clear popular majority is established. :undecided:

Lol for Pakistan.

If you change your government multiple times for the same problem over and over again.

Perhaps the problem is not in the government nor the president.

Perhaps its the people and the whole society.

Dreaming about prosperity, but acting differently and blaming others.

Pakistan needs to change, it should be an act by the whole nation.

If not, you are not going everywhere, 10-50 years from today, you are still at the same spot, but the list of blaming is increasing.
