What's new

Chandrayaan is Alive !

You're preaching to the wrong choir mate, the lander crashed, the orbiter is fine, experiments and equipment designed for the rover can't be performed, experiments and equipment designed for the orbiter are functioning properly, some components of the mission can be achieved and some can't. It's not a total loss nor a total victory.

People fight online for the silliest reasons :undecided:, like it matters what people anywhere think, GoI and ISRO, both stated their intent to further invest resources, learn whatever we can from this venture and continue their research.

Well, im not trying to "preach" bro, just trying to state what is the ACTUAL picture.
We failed with the lander True. But the Mission is still on in a significant way.

Send some from endian flim industry

Nope. Its then in the Moon Orbit and its Clicking RIGHT NOW ! Its ALIVE !

Another lie. Situation after 27th feb is repeated again

People say Communication were hacked on crucial time when it supposed to land on the moon .. do you have inside of it. Just a question

chandriyan zinda hai par sharminda hai

Well, Trolling apart the moon lander failed yes. but Imran bhai :

- The Orbitter is the BEST oribitter the Moon had.
- It will Stay in orbit for 7.5 Years
- Do remmeber than Chndrayaan 1 has found water.. we can expect better stuff this time.

are you sure ? becoz the success of the mission is 98% depends on the moonlanding not the orbitter. Chandrayaan is dead.

Well, the Lnadr was to last 14 days and 400 Meters. Orbitter will MAP the whole Moon with High Precision. ( never done before ). Please do remember that it was INDIA WHICH FOUND WATER ON MOON.

The Chandryaan Orbitter is 100% Fine ( aAnd it will now be alive for 7.5 Years.. than Just 1 years as planned originally...... and it Just Found the Lander as well.

Its Important to note that Chandrayaan 2 Orbitter has the BEST CAMERA carried by ANY MISSION so far. ( .3 M Resolution ). Just wait for the fabulous pics.

Sivan said, "The dual-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR) on board the orbiter will be able to penetrate and see up to 10 metres of the sub-surface of the polar region and help us find water ice.

Its high-resolution camera can zoom up to 30cm, that is also being a first in the world.

And its advanced IR spectrometer (meant to measure spectral components of a physical phenomenon) can work up to 5 micron, instead of 3 micron that earlier ones had.

These payloads will give a lot of data."Clarifying that the landing operation was just a "demonstration, which we could not achieve successfully", Sivan said this "mission won't delay any other mission and that we had a lot of missions in hand".

A senior scientist told TOI "There is a possibility of finding Vikram lander with the orbiter within three days. This is because an orbiter takes three days to come to the same point. We know the landing site but as Vikram deviated from the path at the last minute during the final descent, we have to look in an area of 10 x 10 km area from three payloads SAR, IR spectrometer and camera. We have to do high-resolution imaging of the area to find Vikram."

The scientist also clarified that "If Vikram has crashlanded and turned into pieces, then the chances of finding it will be bleak. However, if the component is intact, the high-resolution imaging will capture the image of Vikram."

But this not any update or any new news.
We already know that contact was lost with the lander and not with the orbiter. So what is this new drama to fool the Innocent Indian public, like always.....

No hacked but Lost Like many others. We lost at 2.1 Km from surface. In jan 2019, israle lost at 10 KM from moon surface. yes Its hard.

We did fail. No Question about it. But We failed in one area. Just one.

Well, Why is the drama needed ? Arnt you happy that some one from pakistan will be launched in space from china on a chinese rocket ? You should be just like we still feel proud of rakesh Sharma who launched from Russia/USSR.

But here we have our own Heavy launcher GSLV III ( 100% Sucess ) Its important as it will soon launch commerical satellites like PSLV and earn money. The launch was so accurate that we now have 7 years worth of fuel left in chandrayaan 2.

Next, we have our mande-in-india orbitter which last time found water... even NASA couldnt do it !

bhai, i am talking about moonlanding. your main mission was the moonlanding. you already put orbitter on thre before. your moonlanding mission is dead. if i am wrong then ask someone from NASA.

No. 95% Equipment was and is INSIDE the orbitter. Period. Im not running away from the fact that lander failed. And we all knew it was hard.

Our ISRO chief said ALREADY, it was near 100% success. I think them men who have been doing it know more than me or you.

@waz @Dubious @Adios Amigo Indians Win with this, so please merge all Chandrayaan success stories to one thread.

W already know Lander was victim of this Hathya on Moon and not the orbiter, so what new you are bringing here to discuss or inform us?

now you are trying to shift the goal post. the topic is not about your last orbitter finding the water on moon or not. period
i dont need to ask from ISRO, NASA is the baap of all Org.period.
your argument is illogical. chandaryan is failed becoz it didnt landed on the moon. many nations have sent orbitter on the moon before you. period.
and lol at 95% equipment. obviously you have to put the equipment inside it to send into moon. be it 95% or 5%. period.

To me it doesn't matter whether the mission was a success or a failure, main thing is that you tried and if not this time then next time it will certainly be a success story.

Sir, Actually getting into the details would be a lovely thing.

You know what.. they bought REAL LUNAR SOIL from US ( the found a similar composition in Tamil Nadu Mountains and used it ) and created a Lunar Surface. Same Optical Situation. Same temperature etc.

The Retro Rockets were used for the first time here. so, thats wahy ISRO CHIENF had already had it will be 15 minutes of terror.

But.. we failed.

But the orbitter is there. US/ EU and All nations will now use its data and know Moon even better.
Science can Unite the WHOLE WORLD. Thats beautiful. isnt it ?
