Chairman Mao reminisced on 127th birthday

Mao made mistakes especially great Leap forward and cultural revolution. But if we put him in longer history we can appreciate him by leading China to a great power. This is the reason CCP doesn't criticize him like USSR did to uncle Joe. Chinese people know what Mao did to them, for bad and good. They moved on. Without Mao China would have been the lapdog of USA or USSR.

We all went throught the transition period from hating him to appreciate him, I used to deeply hate Mao for his mistakes, just as most Chinese people experienced one or two decades ago, we were very narrow minded and brainwashed by the western media back then, but now we grew up and learned to compare and make analysis, we started to see the unrivaled contribution Mao really did for the Chinese nation.

One belief that I haven't changed, I still believe China could be much better off if Mao had died one decade earlier.

Sorry to make you sick, but I don't understand how a foreign country's leader can make you sick, what does he have anything to do with you? I don't remember he ever ruled Vietnam even for one day.. today is Mao's birthday and we Chinese are celebrating it, what's wrong with it? All I can say to you is enjoy being sick.

U don't know even VN leaders also feel sick abt Mao ?? He wanted to annex the whole sub Mekong region.
