Chachro Raid 1971 | Para SF | Pakistan

No one ever undervalued your forces it’s just one operations which has achieved the complete surprise achieve the objectives.......

I don't care if you want to say how Indian forces performed the operation well, but for you to come on a Pakistani forum and specifically talk about our casualties is, simply put, unacceptable in my eyes.

Chachro
Killed – 17
Prisoners of War – 12

Islamkot
Killed – 19
Prisoners of War – 10

If we love casualties we will never accept civilians as POWs in 1971 .... hope you understand what Bengalis would have done with non military people in East Pakistan after surrender......

I'm not saying you love casualties, nobody does, but for you to post them on a Pakistani forum is a slap in the face for all of us (unless someone provokes you into doing it).

The Eastern Command would have never surrendered to Bengali militias. They only surrendered to India because they knew they'd make it if they did (and it was a much wiser decision than trying to fight whilst outnumbered 15:1, isolated from the Western sector and in a land we couldn't care less about).

My intention was to share a mission by special forces and achieved complete surprise..... nothing more nothing less and not even single poster even mentioned about casualties......

Lolll

You are probably thinking that the red dot is Chachro.. Put that red dot near Pak - India border and you will assume that the raid wasn't deep.

Chachro starts from the border.. and is mostly covered by desert.. 80 kms inside (if that happened) in a desert is not a big deal..

The Chachro Raid being one of the most daring and stealthy raid by the Para Special Forces that occurred 80 kms deep into the Pakistani territory in 1971.

Para SF 10 were dead deep into the territory with no high end technologies and still returned with 0 casualities. Hell of a task and truly said “The devil stood up when the Para SF were born”

They travelled over 500 km for this strike and hitting the Pakistani positions inspite of not knowing the geography and terrain.

OBJECTIVE OF Chachro Raid
The two groups of the Para SF were intensely trained for over 5 months who had an objective of getting deep into the territory, hit the supply positions to create confusion among the enemy.

TARGETS
Target 1 – Chachro Raid
Brigadier Abraham Chacko heading the Alpha group and their objective was to create chaos and delve 80km ascent into the territory.
A mini group was then asked to infiltrate the route and give a signal check at 0400 in the morning on Dec 7th. The team gave cover fire at every exit point.

The 17 Pakistani casualities and the 12 prisoners were handed over to 20 Rajput.

Target 2 – Virawah and Nagarparkar
The team decided to move into the daylight involving extreme risk of getting compromised because of lack of time to finish the operation.
Para SF opened attack on Virawah at 0200 on Dec 8th.
They opened fire at the camp with 12 light machine guns which didnt last long and the target 2 of Virawah was taken.

The commandoes moved into Nagarparkar and this target was too taken with no efforts in the dawn of Dec 8 after which both the teams went back to their base.

Islamkot and the battle at Lunio
The alpha group didn’t rest and went for another mission in the dusk of 16th December into the village of Islamkot for another assault, but found the camps empty.

Fortunately the alpha team went back hunting over 18 targets down while they returned and saw whirls of dust in the air due to the enemies’ moving vehicles.

Any GENUINE, IRREFUTABLE, HONEST & RELIABLE source to prove that the above story is true?

They seem to have been very successful considering the indian/bengali narrative that 50,000 Pakistani soldiers killed 3 million bengalis and raped 10 million bengali women in 6 weeks.

indian sources are false, suspect, invalid and highly dubious at best. Therefore you have not provided a GENUINE source.
So some judge wrote a full judgment back in 1995 so that quarter of a century later one could cite this as a source. Well done.

An indian can NEVER be trusted with regards to what they say or write about Pakistan or Pakistanis. Therefore it is an invalid source.
