What do you mean with she sacrifice to her country? It is Huawei matter, and not China as a country case. Huawei doesn't act as PRC cohort. They are a Private corporation. Not a China state Corporation that serve to the Government.

What China do is to protect their citizen safety in facing of an injustice action by another country. Meng is a Chinese Citizen, just like all Chinese posters here. She was captured by Canada despite she didn't violate Canada and US law. And the fraud case of her is not her personal crime; but pointed to Huawei, the corporation that she's work for.

Do you know the case of 何志平? He was just sentenced to jail in USA for possisble up to 20 years, before the verdict he already said that he willing to sacrifice himself to his country, which mean no surrender any Chinese interest for his released since he knew he was a bargain chip since the beginning. I didn't say China shouldn't try his best to rescue Meng and it is still hope as long as Meng still in Canada. But once she transfers to the US, there will be a different story. We have to prepare for the worst, since the US didn't do all of this just to release her back to China.
