You are always welcome in that Embassy and frankly you should just go there. No one will stop you.
Just say you are there for the Cake.

It survived 3 hours.
That is news to me.

Normally the official cake grace period is maximum an hour. I guess Iranians are not that into sweets and stuff.
Next time it will be the traditional Gulaab Jamun

No they r more in sweets the issue was the cake was being send to some dignitaries so thats why it survived.

last time i offered Kheer Rice pudding to an Iranian he was like all pumped up ready to go all Ali on me till i explained its a sweet dish.
