I agree with most of what you say but his methods in dealing with people were bad.I would also like to apologize if my post earlier about him was offensive in some way. What I was really trying to say is that the movie was bad .Sunlight,stakes,garlic are hazardous to vampires not silver. Silver weakens werewolves.

In those times most of the people were assholes,such was the trend of the day.The Ottomans were no angels either...the faith of a Romanian ruler who tried to defend his country:

His short reign was marked by fierce combat against the Ottoman Empire and their CrimeanTatar allies. In order to counter the power of the Ottomans, he allied himself with theUkrainian Cossacks. He was victorious at the battles of Jiliște, the Siege of Brăila, Tighina and Cetatea Alba.[citation needed] When an army of 150,000 Turks[citation needed] was sent against him, he personally surrendered, being promised that his Moldavian soldiers and Cossack allies would be spared in exchange for his capture.[citation needed] He was killed by the Ottomans by tying his body to four camels, which were driven in different directions.[citation needed] His soldiers were nonetheless slaughtered mercilessly.

Sounds like an awfull way to go to me.

Anyway,i won't even bother seeing a movie which doesn't even try to correct simple things:Vlad was the ruler of Wallachia not Transilvania.

3) Well, Armenia is the strategic partner of Russia and often regarded as a "knife in our back" in Georgian society+ everyone in Georgia remembers well that Armenian Brigade fought on Abkhazian side in Abkhazian war + on personal level 99% of Georgians dislike Armenians. :D
4)Russia in Georgia (and IMHO in whole Region ) has upper hand, Armenia is strictly pro Russian and they can cut Georgia into pieces in several minutes (just a single look on the map is enough to see this, Russian army is several KM-s away from the main highway in Georgia which connects eastern and western parts) and if Georgia will become pro-Russian (and Russia can do this easily ) Azerbaijan will be encircled. No one in Georgia ( I am not talking about American paid stooges) wants direct confrontation with Russia,because everyone knows USA will do nothing to help us , so in case of any war between Azerbaijan and Armenia Georgia will be neutral (maybe little bit pro-Azerbaijan) and will allow both Russia and Turkey to send weapons to their allies.

Two races I would never get along with: Armenians and Russians. It is something personal.

Nice to meet you. we will avenge our fallen in the future.

After everything he caused , he should be grateful his dead body is not raped :D But I agree such violence was common, he might have just used them a little too oftenly.

Who would want to rape a dead body and how/why would he care if he's dead ?o_O

The ruler in my link is not Vlad but John the Terrible,who lived some 100 years later.

BTW how you Romanians see the portrayal of one of your kings as Vampire legend.

@dhul-aktaf

Let's continue here, as i already have point for going off-topic. And your mod is so concerned about people arguing in Iranian section. He has right to be concerned though. As most of you are brainless mullahs, you don't even know how to communicate with people in decent manners.

Byzantium you were saying, pls continue.

I thought most Balkanites were pround on Dracula for standing up against Ottoman Turks. Although Dracula failed in real. He kicks Turkish *** in this movie although it is non-fiction. I thought the movie would be welcomed positively.

I am proud of his anti Ottoman campaign across the Danube , the daring Night attack ,and for standing up to the Ottomans with his meager resources while Westerners got routed even if they outnumbered the Turks not by the fact that he's portrayed as a blood sucking monster which got dark powers from another cave dwelling vampire.That's just a spit in the face of a historical character.
