That's right. God does not like stingy people. @Kaan you need to be generous, if you want god to be generous with you.

We can be Sufi leaders in the mornings, and be evangelical sufi at the evenings.

Imagine we pull up in a Maserati paid for by our spiritual enterprise wearing the Suleiman turbans and eastern garb, fox news declares it the beginning of an invasion.

Religious business is much more rewarding than engineering. Sometimes, I think I did a terrible mistake to choose engineering.

It is much more high risk though, although you could have just joined the system in Iran with your Hashemite lineage it would have been an easy lock. :partay:

We are in need as well :D
Well if you guys are legit scholars and have no income then I could technically pay my zekat to you guys.:ashamed:

Of course you can only get if you need.

Yeah, specially the Sayyid lineage does matter a lot for religious Iranians and religious authorities as well. My religious friends refer to me as Sayyed, which is pretty funny for myself, since I am not that much religious.
BTW, this emoticon, :partay: , has a Qizilbash style hat :lol::lol:

My family gives it to the needy in turkey because we have someone that can verify who is needy and who is not.
Don't you have a reliable mullah? they usually take care of this stuff. ;)

Pakistanis who know my family call me Shah Sahib, that is how Syeds are referred to in South Asia. Shah is also one of my surnames lol.

Same here although my mother usually handles all of that, usually we just pay our zakat through the proceeds we collect from our homes we put up for rent in Pakistan. :) Since I don't really know about who to give money to in Pakistan, I usually give to different mosques in the US from my own pocket though as they all have a zakat fund box lol.
