If you want to use estoy, you will need to put it BEHIND aqui as in "Aqui estoy yo" (Here I am)

Soy (+ Adjective) Aqui mean (I am here) usually written (Yo) Soy (+Adjective) Aqui

Both are fine to use, the one I use is more informal, the one you said (Albeit wrong order) is more formal. And usually if you learn Spanish as a beginner, your teacher will ask you to do "estoy" because it was more formal, I am not a beginner, I am a native speaker, so I tend to use more informal tone.

Spanish judge orders arrest of ousted Catalan leader: La Vanguardia

MADRID (Reuters) - A Spanish judge on Thursday issued a European arrest warrant for ousted Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont and four members of his sacked cabinet, now in Belgium, after they failed to appear at a High Court hearing, newspaper La Vanguardia said.

A spokeswoman for the High Court could not confirm the warrant had been issued.

Spain’s state prosecutor had asked the judge to issue such a warrant earlier in the day.
