Casualties feared as militants attack Iran army parade

in a speech during the funeral of the victims, General Salami deputy chief commander of IRGC warned against all who are behind this terror attack and said "Story isn't over, you know and we know that we will avenge."
he promised a crushing and devastating response that will make them regret.

He pointed at Israel and said:
You (Israelis) saw our revenge after you martyred our beloved scientists, you know what we did.
You noticed how we avenged after you martyred General Allah-Dadi in Golan.
You saw our reaction after you martyred our youth in (Syrian) T4 airbase.

Americans should know too and we warn them, you have only learned to fail.
You haven't been able to guard the Zionist security, today Hezbollah has become so powerful that can give a sever blow to Zionists in any war and keep them on the verge of death and survival.

You couldn't finalize your new middle east plan, you couldn't disintegrate Syria, you couldn't overthrow Bashar Assad government, he remain and you're gone.

You couldn't disintegrate Iraq and couldn't achieve political dominance in this country. pro revolutions were in there and will remain in there. You couldn't save Saudis from Yemen quagmire. you were turned into ashes in Tabas (desert of Iran) when decided to land on the heart of this country. we captured your marines and you couldn't do nothing.

You have said that you want to take the conflict into Iran, so obviously you are the mastermind and center of this conspiracies. we will take a hard revenge against our enemies.

At Monday’s ceremony, Revolutionary Guard’s acting commander Gen. Hossein Salami vowed revenge against the attack’s perpetrators and what he called the “triangle” of Saudi Arabia, India and the U.S.

Funerals are underway in Iran for the victims of the weekend terror attack on a military parade in southwestern city of Ahvaz.

Thousands gathered on Monday at the Sarallah Mosque at the city’s Taleghani junction, carrying caskets in the sweltering heat.

Of the 25 people killed at Saturday’s parade, 12 were from Ahvaz and the rest from elsewhere in Khuzestan province. It was the deadliest terror attack inside Iran in nearly a decade.

At Monday’s ceremony, Revolutionary Guard’s acting commander Gen. Hossein Salami vowed revenge against the attack’s perpetrators and what he called the “triangle” of Saudi Arabia, India and the U.S.

Arab separatists have claimed the assault according to Iranian Military, which also wounded 60, including Guard members and soldiers.

President Hassan Rouhani has accused a U.S.-allied regional country of supporting the perpetrators.

U.S. ambassador to the UN has urged Iran to “look in the mirror” for the causes of an attack on a military parade that killed at least 29 people on Saturday.

U.S. ambassador to the UN said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had “oppressed his people for a long time”, reported on Sunday.

U.S. ambassador to the UN was responding to Mr. Rouhani’s fierce criticism of the U.S., in which he blamed it for enabling the attack.

Two separate groups have claimed they carried out the shooting, but neither has provided evidence.

Four gunmen opened fire at Revolutionary Guard troops in the south-western city of Ahvaz on Saturday, killing 29 people people including soldiers and civilians watching a commemorative parade.

One of the victims was a four-year-old girl.

An anti-government group —National Resistance —— and the Islamic State (IS) group both claimed responsibility for the killings.

A video released by the State group’s news agency, shows three men in a car who appear to be dressed in Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) uniforms, possibly on their way to carry out the shooting.

The men do not identify themselves as members of IS in the video, but do talk about the importance of jihad.

Mr. Rouhani said the “bully” U.S., along with Gulf states it backed, had enabled the attack.

But the U.S. has denied responsibility and says it condemns “any terrorist attack”, while a senior official for the United Arab Emirates — one of the countries Mr. Rouhani was thought to be referring to — called the accusations “baseless”.

“He’s got the Iranian people... protesting, every ounce of money that goes into Iran goes into his military, he has oppressed his people for a long time and he needs to look at his own base to figure out where that’s coming from,” U.S. ambassador to the UN told CNN.

“He can blame us all he wants. The thing he’s got to do is look in the mirror.”

Mr. Rouhani will face U.S. President Donald Trump at the UN General Assembly this week.

Speaking on Sunday, before leaving for the U.N. in New York, Mr. Rouhani vowed that Iran would “not let this crime stand”.

“It is absolutely clear to us who committed this crime... and whom they are linked to,” U.S. ambassador to the UN said.

U.S. ambassador to the UN alleged that a country had supported the “financial, weaponry and political needs” of the attackers.

U.S. ambassador to the UN added: “The small countries in the region are backed by America, and the U.S. is provoking them and giving them the necessary capabilities.”

For Pakistanis, the main trouble makers in the region are UAE and Iran. Saudis used to make trouble by funding militant groups that they were unaware of, but after our military let them know they have stopped.

In regards to Iran, the country supports India and has let them in Chabahar port. As far as I can tell the spy was arrested in Iran and handed over. Any criticism of that matter is hear say with zero proof. An Indian spy was caught with Iranian documents that was fueling the fire over the border into neighboring Pakistani Baluchistan province. These Indians have been paying thugs and mercenaries to kill shia populations such as the Hazara and anyone else loyal to Pakistan. To us, this is considered a terrorist act, whether knowingly or unknowingly, because India is a kaafir nation that hates Muslims and also commits crimes against their own Muslim population.

Regarding UAE, they are the most arrogant people on earth. If Pakistan does not obey their commands, they try to blackmail us in text book Arab fascistic zeal.

I just wanted to express my views to you and other Iranians. My intention was not to get political or religious. I don't want to hijack this thread with politics, because it was a terroristic act, and I support Iran in taking down the backers of such a horrific attack.

First off, you have very thin evidence of Iran involvement in any Pakistani affairs, the port is an economic decisiom
Salaam
You are only speaking of the politics of middle east, but not of central asia/south asia. Iranian people in general are more arabic/turkish than Asiatic, unlike Afghanistan or Pakistan, so I understand your concerns there. Most of your major cities are on western border with Iraq, where as most of the Pakistani big cities are on eastern border with India, and Afghanistan is just up north with only Kabul.

I am trying to explain to you that Iran is no friend of Pakistan. Your government helps Indian agencies in killing Pakistanis. But we still do not consider common Iranian or as we say Irani as a bad person. If you say Saudi Arabia is bad then Iran is equally as bad for us. We try to ignore the politics, but thanks to your country sponsoring terrorist handlers from India, our country has suffered from countless terrorist attacks. Children, women, and the elderly, because your government hosts Indian terrorists.

This was one attack for you. And I am sure it hurt your heart to see children and women being attacked. Your nation was complicit in hosting Indian handlers that hired mercenaries in neighboring regions of Pakistan to shoot up an entire school.

Here is another of Shia Pakistanis in Masjid being attacked by terrorists funded by Indians from Chabahar.

Your government is complicit in these acts of barbarism by supporting Indian intelligence officials and allowing them to operate from your soil into Pakistan.

We will not forget, nor will we forgive.

But at the same time, we feel the pain of common Iranian people as we have felt this pain hazaar times.

You don't have any solid proof of Iran's involvement in your affairs. much less terrorism. If you do, list it! Also, the port is an economic decision it was not made or designed to hurt Pakistan. These type of competitions are common, even amongst allies, for ex: the U.S. and Canada's competing car and industrial manufacturing. As far as India is concerned India is in no way a strategic partner of Iran, only a customer of our oil, a shitty one at that. They want to pay in Rupees, they held on to our money for years after oil delivery...etc.

Well DNA prove that Iranians are 56% are Arab but many of them unaware of that lol

Ok no doubt all the Sadah ( offspring ) Ahlul bayt PBOT are Arab for sure and they're indeed big percent of Ira. and Iraq population
So yes Iran more Arab than the north african arab states hahahaha funny this world we live in

Now only god knows how many of Pakistan and Afghanistan are also Arab without knowing they're Arab

If you mean J1 DNA haplogroup it is less than 8% in Iran and Turkey and FYI J1 dna origin from Caucasus and Zagros [Western Iran] not Yemen.
J1 DNA origins:

The first J1 men lived in the Late Upper Paleolithic, shortly before the end of the last Ice Age. The oldest identified J1 sample to date comes from Satsurblia cave (c. 13200 BCE) in Georgia (Jones et al. (2015)), placing the origins of haplogroup J1 in all likelihood in the region around the Caucasus, Zagros, Taurus and eastern Anatolia during the Upper Paleolithic.

Like many other successful lineages from the Middle East, J1 is thought to have undergone a major population expansion during the Neolithic period. Chiaroni et al. (2010)found that the greatest genetic diversity of J1 haplotypes was found in eastern Anatolia, near Lake Van in central Kurdistan. Eastern Anatolia and the Zagros mountains are the region where goats and sheep were first domesticated, some 11,000 years ago. Chiaroni et al. estimated that J1-P58 started expanding 9,000 to 10,000 years ago as pastoralists from the Fertile Crescent. Although they did not analyze the other branches, it is likely that all surviving J1a1b (L136) lineages share the same origin as goat and sheep herders from the Taurus and Zagros mountains.

Now if we consider J2 it is Caucasian and it has nothing to do with arabs. It origins from North of Iran and Lorestan.
J2 DNA origins:

Haplogroup J2 is thought to have appeared somewhere in the Middle East towards the end of the last glaciation, between 15,000 and 22,000 years ago. The oldest known J2a samples at present were identified in remains from the Hotu Cave in northern Iran, dating from 9100-8600 BCE (Lazaridis et al. 2016), and from Kotias Klde in Georgia, dating from 7940-7600 BCE (Jones et al. (2015)). This confirms that haplogroup J2 was already found around the Caucasus and the southern Caspian region during the Mesolithic period. The first appearance of J2 during the Neolithic came in the form of a 10,000 year-old J2b sample from Tepe Abdul Hosein in north-western Iran in what was then the Pre-Pottery Neolithic (Broushaki et al. 2016).

Notwithstanding its strong presence in West Asia today, haplogroup J2 does not seem to have been one of the principal lineages associated with the rise and diffusion of cereal farming from the Fertile Crescent and Anatolia to Europe. It is likely that J2 men had settled over most of Anatolia, the South Caucasus and Iran by the end of the Last Glaciation 12,000 years ago. It is possible that J2 hunter-gatherers then goat/sheep herders also lived in the Fertile Crescent during the Neolithic period, although the development of early cereal agriculture is thought to have been conducted by men belonging primarily to haplogroups G2a(northern branch, from Anatolia to Europe), as well as E1b1b and T1a (southern branch, from the Levant to the Arabian peninsula and North Africa).

I hope someday all of Iraqis know that before Islam they weren’t arab speakers and genetically they are closer to Iranians rather than Suadis. Furthermore they were Izadis, Zoroastrians and Christians not idol worshippers.

I don’t want to talk about how Baghdad [heaven of God: in Persian] was great at time of Sasanid empire and alas invaders ruined it and built caliph on it.

Nonsense. J2 and even possibly J1 (which these kinds of researches simply mention them arab/middle eastern or anything else, so that simple people understand it) are both from Iran/near Iran.
Most of sadah are also fake. During Qajar, Safavids, Ottomans tens or even hundreds of thousands of people bought shajara-nameh in Iran and Turkey, it was a business. Let them do DNA tests.
