Because everyone in India is not..the term actually is less cash....of-course there are idiots who feel like making fun of every govt. initiative as their birth right....I am in my 30's and haven't heard about push for digital as vocal as present govt. is doing...Now even a brain dead person will know that no society is totally cashless however does that mean we should not even try to become as much digital as we can?? Even with the current pathetic infra we can still hit 30-40% number....and even that is going to be a huge plus...however what will idiots see...India is going to be cashless...hehe hehhe ahhhah hahaha...why is everyone in India is calling it cashless society when govt only cancelled 1000 and 500 notes and asking people to convert to other denominations. Cash isnt going anywhere, do you still have a Rupee, 5/10 50/100 rupee notes ?
What hurts me most is the level of experts being fielded these days...Unfortunately the flip side of 24x7 media has resulted in so called experts going down the gutter and unfortunately it is becoming a global phenomenon as well....we were used to hear nonsense from politicians but now the new normal is to hear the same crap from experts...No wonder these experts were wrong for making hue and cry when BJP projected modi as PM candidate..their version was BJP going down the gutter...result exactly opposite.. the same experts mocked Jan Dhan Yojna...result very different.....In international front as well so called experts were wrong..be it brexit, be it trump winning elections...and the most ironical thing is that same experts are still being hailed for more prophesies
It is not about rebranding same policy...Govt. work in continuation...it is not like every single work it thrown out in dustbin...having said that it is about bringing in results...congress says Jan Dhan Yojna was their initiative...well they were there in power for 10 years...so how many worth mentioned accounts were opened in that Yojna?? It was congress who brought in Aadhar...however taking it forward to many other levels is done by present govt. no?? What stopped Congress to do the same?? Even in defense .... the MMRCA deal could not see light of the day in entire Congress decade long rule...Present govt. scrapped it and finally concluded with 36 odd fighters...who was stopping congress to go one way or another...?? Just check the infra build up rate of this govt. and compare with previous one...well sir, if you think rebranding policy names is a new work done from scratch, then i have to disagree with you.
the present govt, when in opposition, opposed the same initiatives put forward by the then govt. why should i support this one which changes its stance like a chameleon after changing "chairs". however, i do understand they need time and i m agreed to give them that. after all, the rott spread by the previous govts is not going to get undone in 2..5...or maybe 10 years.
morever i am not a modi supporter just like i was not a MMS supporter or a gandhi supporter. the nearest i went to supporting anybody (like the support u are talking) was Shri AB Vajpayee Ji. i criticized the intelligence failure during kargil war (which led to the war in first place) and the coffin scam, which happened during his tenure. but his accomplishments far outweigh his failure as a politicians. Modiji has a lot .....looooooooot to accomplish to attain his stature and credibility.
These are just some of the examples...The point is you need to take tough decisions to break the status quo...and you are bound to make mistakes...however that is always going to a better stage then not doing any work for fear of making one mistake...but to complement that Congress was working however in looting the economy like a leech.....
