Inspiration comes from everywhere. It could come riding home on the train, it could come as you're staring into your cereal bowl of Lucky Charms, or it could come when you're lining up your putt on the 18th green.
Subtle cues can create the best ideas. When it comes to cars, sports cars in particular, a main focus is to create a vehicle that depicts speed and is aerodynamically sound. As far as those characteristics are concerned, few things can compete with the designs of fighter jets.
Designers often cite Formula One cars and planes as the models for their vehicles. Don't know which rides we're talking about? Educate yourself with these 25 Cars Inspired by Airplanes and Fighter Jets.
