lets take your maths too
6bn = 6000 million
10% of 454m = 45 million roughly.
Dividing that money into 10% of poors each will receive
6000/45 = 135$
Given that if one earns less than 1.25$ per day, he is considered below poverty line.
So one would need 1.25*365 = 456$+ in one year to cross over poverty line.
But above calculation gives us just 135$ hence even 10% population is not coming out of poverty.
With that amount
6000/456 = 13.57 million people will be able to come out of poverty.
thats is approx 2.89% only...
A single missile can kill max 100 people but that money can save 5000 lives from cancer.
