There is a huge diversity ...depending on the region ...and "colour " has absolutely no connection as far as ethnicity or genetics are concerned in modern day India.

Canadians should stop their extreme reliance on U.S foreign policy and military protection and rather seek to proactively engage with India and China. Premier Harper's visit to India was a good starting point and such visits and co-operation is greatly needed to showcase good Indo-Canadian and Sino-Canadian relations and popularize our countries among general Canadians . This would gradually remove their irrational misgivings. And given the large number of Indian and Chinese expatriates to Canada over the last few decades , cultural interactions should never be a problem.

depends on the region , wheatish mostly in the northern states , Brown in the eastern and Southern states, and yellow in the North East .....

the people from the middle like maharashtra ,karnataka,Ap,goa are brown..
people from kerala,tamil nadu are dark brown..
