I have no double standards about Ahmadis and in fact have softened my stance on them over the years I have spent here on pdf but I am also not a naive optimist like you. You say that Ahmadis are being killed because they were declared non Muslim but you forget that there was anti Ahmadi riots a full 2 decades before said declaration. The Ahmadi question is not something that just be solved through a overnight declaration of secularism like you seem to believe. There would still be Ahmadis being beat up and/or killed the next day, the solution to this issue is only going to be found through a change in mindset of the people on the ground. Like I told ehsan earlier even the most sympathetic of Ahmadi supporters would not openly declare them as Muslims either because they know its a minority position or because they just don't believe it themselves.

I am glad you have softened your stance but there is still much to do to make the Ahmedis feel secure and at home in Pakistan.

Islam is logical and every action should be justified. Now tell me what is the benefit of declaring Ahmadis Non-muslim. Has it brought any positive change in Pakistan, or in Islamic world as per say. If only, since that decision in 70s, our country is divided in many folds, sectarianism, hatred, extremism, fake mullah rise to power, Gun culture, islam branding, hypocrisy, terrorism.
Islamic world and Islam is on a downward slope since last 3 decades, I guess this historic decision by "sarkari muslims" should make God happy and he should reward muslims but we are seeing is totally opposite of that.

Canada is hardly in a position to be barking against Pakistan, in fact their leaders like Pakistan's take orders from DC so they are in the same boat as Pakistan.

The verse I presented to you was only to show to you that the word sect is used in the Qur'an in different conctexts. I am not rejecting the Qur'an but merely showing you the different contexts that the word sect is used in. Rest is up to you.

It is because in Arabic 1 word can have multiple meaning we may be taking it as sect it could be deviations

As for the hadeeth, you do know that Sunan Abu Dawood is among the Siah Sittah, that is the six authentic works of hadeeth? And also there is a similar hadith in Tirmidhi.

You do know that Hadith is hadith and god did notclaim to protect them....and do you also know some are being reviewed and some have been given a ???

And calling Sunan Abu Dawaood as a grand prophecy is laughable! The only thing grand is what comes from ALLAH...the quran and thats it...other things are a guideline ...

And as for the verse, I didn't tell you to stop there, or even start from there. Allah knows my intention was to only point out the verse I was referring to as the page consisted of the whole Surah.
