its a 70s tech and not have AIP tech like Agosta and Agosta is 80 tech, it not have AIP tech so it can often resurfacing or snorkeling depths for charging batteries which means its is easily detected by MPA

Agosta 90B is based on Agosta 70 which is an old design. Scorpene is a new design.

Agosta 90B has same hull as Agosta 70 which is 1950s / 1960s design. Victoria is much newer design in late 1970s and much better streamlined.

The Agosta-90B-class submarines is an improved version with modern systems, better battery with longer endurance, deeper diving capability, lower acoustic cavitation and better automatic control (reducing crew from 54 to 36).
