Can we have planes like these in Pakistan?

Why don't we have these here?

We'll need water bodies (like lakes etc), but the ones we have, can't we utilize them? Will it be cheaper then conventional or more expensive?

Ignoring the fact that we dont have any money, the plane will be extremely impractical. How many cities do you know which have a large body of water next to them? Karachi, and then Gwadar. Thats it. As for lakes, would you like to do a 2 hour drive to the nearest lake in order to catch a flight?

I dont think it will be cheaper in anyway because the amount of fuel and maintenence will be same if not higher.

these planes are good for those that have islands such as indonesia, or the caribbean, not suited for countries like pak.

Since I dont think we'll be getting Magnetic trains in the next 100 yrs.. we do need something

There are certain places where they can use the services, but mostly they can be used for fire fighting. Extra fuel is not an issue if these can do the job.

It is interesting to note that there are some people who would pay Rs 40K for flying because they have to save time.

I meant 50% extra fuel consumption.
These are special purpose planes not suitable for large scale use. The greater costs prohibits their use as general purpose vehicles.
