Milk alternative such as Oat based milk are great. The land, fodder and water used for cattle could be diverted to tap into growing market for dairy alternatives.

Meat is comparatively expensive and requires little effort to properly cook. I do not see any Pakistani choosing meat over Veggies in normal circumstances .

i dont know about elite but lower middle class and average Lahori cant live without meat be it chicken or beaf. mutton is a expensive.
