Neither the US, Israel nor India will gain from destablilsing Pakistan.

It is in the interest of the US and India to ensure that Pakistan does not fall into the hands of the fundamentalist because that will destabilise the area with serious consequences. Even China would not savour such a situation because it has its own problems at Xinjiang. It must be remembered that fundamenatalists have no interest in geostrategic politics. They only understand Wahhabi Islam and its spread.

If fundamentalist take over Pakistan, then Afghanistan is a goner. And if Afghanistan goes, then the Central Asian countries too will totter and will soon be gripped by the fundamentalists. The strategic environment thus can be well understood.

For this reason even Russia is not keen to destabilise Pakistan.

If the fundmentalists rise in Pakistan, then it would not be good for Paksitan itself! The fundamentalists of international hue are Wahhabi led. Therefore, the sectarian violence will become rife and Pakistan will get destabilised itself by itself. Iran, being Shia, will jump into the fray since the Iranian head seems to be a belligerent person who takes real drastic action that doesn't appear safe.

So, one really wonders if any country will gain if Pakistan is destabilised.

That is the reason why Indians may accuse Pakistan of variety of things, yet they do not accuse General Musharraf in particular, except when it is required to impress their constituencies!

These are alarmist articles that are aimed to please home readership and are normally motivated and with an agenda like the presentation of those scenarios, which are feasible, but will only bring forth the end of the world or at least the end of a part of the world. Surely, our leaders are not that foolish.

1 they are not that powerfull they can never make to formation of government at Centre.
Even if Musharraf is not there even thn they cant overtake the country cuz its not just the political parties or the political system that can overtake while they are fundamantalists. Therez a very systmatic structure and Army is also there which is not fundamantalists furthermore the much flayed intellegence agenices are there who can never let fundamantalists take over.

And above all over 90 per cent people of Pakistan are moderate.

Hindus who are against any other religion in India. U must had seen how the Christians were burnt alive by these Hindu fundamentalists.

That is Indian government and Media which after failing to solve problems accuse Pakistan and we all know Media is a powerfull tool. The hurt people are quick to believe what are being feed to them after every incident.

It was interesting to read your comments.

I worry about all types of fundamentalists and jingos. They are brainless wonders.

I worry more of fundamentalism which can be a danger to life or limb. Scarves and such like are trappings of life and it does not worry me. When I retired and shed my uniform, I felt nostalgic a bit. But now, it does not matter. I have got used to it and yet I remain the same man and still command the same respect when I visit the Club , Golf course etc.

Trappings don't matter. The intrinsic quality of man and how he is remembered by the society matters.

I have seen all religions. I find them at the mercy of the priestly class, call them padres, purohits or mullahs. They are all the same. Therefore, I don't subscribe to religion. I believe in what I can experience. I can experienceI Nature. Therefore, I worship and protect Nature. I have seen life and I have seen Death. Therefore, religion does not attract me. But that does not mean I do not respect others' religions.

Take our President. He is a rocket scientist. He possibly knew very little of governance or about politics. He is a Muslim and so as per the popular perception outside India, he should be having problems and yet, the respect that he commands is much more than most of our Presidents. His intrinsic quality speaks for him. He will be remembered as an impartial and a forceful President. The political parties try to cow him down, but he does not bend. He has a mind of his own and the people love him for that. He will safeguard our Consitution.

When China takes over the US whos gonna look after Israel ?
When China superseeds its techno in milatary over US whos gonna protect Israel ?

A super Volcan is one of the most powerful Volcanoes on Earth which happens every 1000 years . Such a power it has, scientist say that it will blot the sun out, black rain will fall and the Earth will go through something similir to a nuclear winter.

If i am correct i think in 81 israel tried to attack pakistans nuclear reactor but the plan was foiled.
Is this correct and if it is please could someone give further details.
