Can India help the UK create the next Silicon Valley and be a tech superpower?

Check the video.
Like Soviet technology transfer to China, and US technology transfer to Europe as part of Marshall plan after world war 2.
Even then it seems unlikely they'll try to go away from their financial services dominance. Their nationals won't like it as they need more outsiders for their aspiration.

The service model is not the issue. US and UK offshored their less productive work to India. It made sense in pre-China world. But now it is a direct threat to their sovereignty. But, courtesy of freedom/democracy, UK's population is the gutter.

That's where India comes in. India is pitching export of its cheap labor as a solution to build a semiconductor industry in UK, not some intellectual property transfer.

What knowledge does India as a society have in computing that it can help Britain ? All those big Indian "IT" companies like Infosys, TCS and Tech Mahindra are just code monkey shops, not innovation and invention places.
That is what I was talking about

obviously you have to learn a lot more about India's IT industry.
Or you are stuck in the code/code/code days of some 10 years ago.
It is very different today. You are probably not alone in this ignorance.
Suggest you research how far the startup eco system, p.e investment etc have come up.
The companies you have listed and similar ones I'd dare guess are may be 50% rote coding etc but the amount of incubation they do is unmatched.
Oxford University is not really foolish

.
I think by help, the video meant if more professionals from India were allowed to work in UK

and does not mean India will bring technology or investments into IT

.

Is this meant to be a joke? India lags years behind in terms of computer science.

The UK ranks second in terms of most distinguished computer scientists.

India isn’t even in the top ten!

I have watched Shark Tank and I agree that Indian startups are not all about those stupidities called "Edtech", "Fintech" and "EVs", that there are actually useful startups but what are you talking about ?

What incubation ? Does TShiYes have a secret program to take humanity to beyond Pluto ?

Oxford University is not really foolish

What do you mean ?

When you see around you what products /services are Made in USA, you will see that it's all products related to human domination.

1. Military hardware (fighter jets flying over our heads and so on) to dominate people through violence.
2. Hollywood entertainment: to dominate people through brainwashing
3. Internet services and software products: To spy and get information of how to apply points 1 and 2-

You know, it's not a coincidence that USA is leader in those 3 fields and it's not another.

I dont see washing machines made in usa around me, because that's not useful to domination.
