For some reason, Indians like to brag about becoming a superpower. May I ask why do Indians have this desire?

Even in the Indian 2030 superpower video, India need a white guy to affirm that India is a superpower. A white guy to talk about there are lots of white servants and that they are disgusting. Feed, clothe, shelter, educate, and heal them.

India is doing worse on all these aspects.
Plus the huge corruption.

China & India were at the same place in 1947.
Now look where China is and look where India is.
China had to change its style of governance to achieve what it is today.
The Indian public today are not willing to change.

There is a difference, china started its economic boom in 1980s & India started it 20 years later.

Don't forgot that before 2000, Pakistan was better than India in all economic & development parameters. Now look where you stand & where we stand.

I'm really fade up with this "Superpower" threads..Neither India nor China or any other country will going to get the Super Power status for atleast 50 years..USA created a huge gap with all the other countries in almost each and every sector which is very hard to reduce,let alone overcome it and cross it to become another "Super Power"..and simply they'll not allowed them to be.see in the China's case,pieces are already set to contain it(for good I'd say,or entire region will be on fire).Its not just economy,but huge influence on almost every country that allows them this kind of power.and its very hard to achieve that.and Militarily,well...you're in Defence forum,you should know...
