What is a hindu ummah?
The word Ummah is impossible to apply to the dogmatic and theological concepts of Hinduism.

Moreover, it also implies that whoever is using this word has little understanding of it or its implications on muslims and individual Islamic societies.

It is quite obvious in what loose way it is used and what it is meant to convey. Same as how lords is considered the mecca of cricket, without the dogmatic implications.

Yes it is not the same to us, neither does it incite the same feverish fervor in us. The US vs THEM is not important to our dogma.
