Yes , i agree with you. We have to be carefull now.. the brits will next ask tax from states .. then make conflict between states like for example andra and manipur. And take over state by state and make it a colony...

Germany is a integral part of NATO and the West.
The USSR and US fought the most dangerous war in History , which ended in the dissolution of the Soviet Union
France and Germany are the Pillars of the EU
Japan is the 2nd largest Economy and shares good relation with The US. So much so that they play the US favourite pass time Base ball.

All that in less than a century.

Yet here we are with the OP digging up 200 year old history and then trying to link it to Modern day politics.

Sorry but if you have to derive enjoyment out of such small talk then you can. We dont hold onto things for 200 years, we fought bravely for our independence and held onto our values strongly since 1947. Today when the past rulers come back to talk about friendship again, they are most welcome as equals.If Pakistani's cannot do anything better than chase someone's ancestry then im sorry thats a very sad position. This thread and this argument are both senseless and burning in jealousy. Sensible people dont hold grudges for 200 years.
