please donot preach the independent thinking Azad Pakistanis, that Aid is a GOOD THING FOR US, ITS A BLESSING FOR US, WE CANNOT LIVE WITH OUT IT.

The IMF loan, World Bank loan has increased many folds in past 6 years...we were independent economically but now our foreign debt is more $70 billion...what has this American Aid done in past decade to make Pakistan a welfare, independent state, NOTHING!

A direct coup is unlikely, but there are many ways to stage a soft coup, and I think we are seeing one in slow motion progress right now. Overall, the Army will remain in firm control to its benefit at the cost of national progress.

The US believes that regional stability is more important than democracy. The United States continues to support authoritarian regimes even to this day.

So all this talk of sanctions if the Pak military intervenes is complete balderdash. In their heart of hearts they would like nothing better than to have a military dictatorship in Pakistan as it suits their national interests.
