CCD clearly sucks in front of Starbucks and I had been to their Vienna outlet, the only people who visit their are Indian's or south Asian's, entering European market will be a suicide for them.

CCD is growing at a rapid speed and starbucks is damn expensive in front of CCD...ggood that CCD is providing quality products at cheap price and inshallah they will grow one day to be no.1....as starbucks is decreasing rapidly,...

Actually not, and espresso or cappuccino is priced at euro 4 and 6 in Vienna compared to just 5 euro for Cappuccino in Prague(I did not visited starbucks in Vienna) and the quality of CCD really sucks in front of Starbucks.

And Starbuks is not declining, they are expanding into newer markets and soon will be in India.

now middle class and up of Karachi will be able to buy cheap Colombian/Arabica bean instant coffee with no nutrients in it besides sugar and a lot of it run by an Indian company. but i'm sure starbucks has a head start in terms of that sector not just regionally but internationally.

I'm a coffee freak and I can say that nothing beats Starbucks. My second choice is Gloria Jeans.

the growth you are mentioning is just relative in term, actually CCD is not growing fast than Starbucks.

Well starbucks is a mega corporation with 20,000 outlets and revenue of around $ 12 billion.

CCD is just any small coffee outlet in front of them with some 1500 outlets and $ 50 million revenue.

CCD had not even effectively tapped Indian market and they are jumping outside thats why I said it is a suicide.
