Burma's Suu Kyi in anti-China campaign

When Myanmar is becoming more and more anti-China, then you will see more anti-Muslim violence as well, since both anti-China and anti-Muslim campaigns were sponsored by the West.

Can any Chinese brothers tell us what China may do (short term & long term) against this anti-Chinese campaign in Burma, and how they will deal with Suu Kyi?
Like other members have said, short term: pull out all the investments, long term: not war but breaking ties with them.

Suu Kyi is NOT on an anti China course. Don´t talk crap!
She supports the poor and the weak and fights against the injustice.

According to media press, the Burmese corrupt officials took the rural people the land without paying compensation (or paying only a little). That´s a shock to see that the security forces acted hard against the monks.

Official corruption and oppression are huge issues in Myanmar. The junta has only just managed to keep the population under their heel with the greatest of effort. The groundswell of support to Aung San Suu Kyi is tremendous. Now that the junta has come to terms with the realities, they have loosened up. They are in a financial shambles. But for the fact that they received weapons and some finances from China; the junta would have keeled over long ago. But the writing is on the wall and the junta is simply trying to make a graceful and gradual exit hence the rapprochement with Suu Kyi.

Though China and America will continue to influence the burmese policy, my impression is Burma wants to be independent, not to side to the big players China nor America. Judging the current burmese policies, that is clear that it chooses to be a part of ASEAN.

Vietnam clearly supports this way.

Thanks to the repressive policies of the Junta, Myanmar/Burma has had the status of a pariah state. That hit Myanmar very hard, esp the economy. While the Chinese Govt. did extend some Aid to Myanmar both material and financial it was not adequate. Secondly it only benefitted the Junta and was not relevant to the citizenry. Hence it was unable to create any favorable atmosphere in the minds of the common Myanmarese. Now with the gradual devolution of political power being initiated back to the people in Myanmar; they are wary of any foreign aid or influence that does not percolate to them or which may be used to oppress them. America is not yet a factor in domestic Myanmarese politics. In respect of Sino-Myanmarese relations; there has always been a 'fear factor'. Probably BD-Myanmarese relations were much more comfortable and cordial. Till the Rohingya issue cropped up. If the civilians come back to power in Myanmar completely, they will proceed with extreme caution wrt alignment with larger powers. In any case, it will more realistic for Myanmar to think within a regional compass. Like wise, USA and Western powers have limited interest in Myanmar.

Burma is very diverse itself. In some minority states of Burma, Suu Kyi has no impact. But China has very deep impact there. China Dollar are used there and even China telecom are operating there with Yunnan zode code. China languages are spoken there

Seeing China policy right now.....they will do nothing.

The problem with your country, China don't have control over Myanmar media and don't have NGOs to operate in behave of defending your country interest. Your country voice around the world is always being ignored and overwhelmed by Western media.

Your enemies are eating you one by one, and you do nothing. Stupid communist!

The CPC is run by a bunch if gutless douche bag yes men. China is losing influence over Myanmar and the communists are doing nothing. Just worshipping and licking the backside of the white man. Pretty much all of these CPC members are corrupt as hell and taking bribes from western multinationals and NGOs.
