1) The point is that you are using a completely different yardstick to make the facts suit your beliefs, instead of beliefs based on facts. One man being killed for eating beef, while a despicable and criminal act, cannot be used to generalize that Muslims are oppressed or that India is a "Hinudcracy". That was your original assertion, and my point in reminding you about Paksitan was to make you exercise some sanity while making assertions. If that is the standard you hold a country to, then you should think what that says about Pakistan.

It's the scale - one criminal act does not warrant a sweeping generalization. When you want to judge something or somebody, use the same standard that you use for others.

As I said, the fact that that one murder is still being talked about, and will be talked about for years to come, shows that India places a much higher value on life than countries that forget the killing of a hundred by the next day.

2) Funeral processions of every militant killed gets a reception like this. This is not the first time, it is a common occurrence. The Indian security forces do not ever try to prevent that. In fact, they even provide security for these events. The curfews were to prevent violent protests, not to prevent people from attending the funeral. (If that was the intention, they wouldn't have handed over the body or even publicized his death - they would simply have "disappeared" him.)

Look for pictures of funerals of insurgents who have died before - you will see the same sight.

3) Could you tell me why this person will be one of the greatest heroes, about whom films will be made, as compared to everybody before him? I'll bet you can't.

Can you list his accomplishments, what makes him stand out among other militants? The only reason he is a folk hero, is because he used social media to advertise himself. He has never fired a shot at anybody, has never been in battle. Many other "commanders" before him were veterans of various conflicts, were battle hardened, and much better military planners. But this is the internet age, and a handsome man who uses twitter and youtube to post pictures of himself in Ramboesque poses becomes a hero. Otherwise, there have been many others before him who had accomplished more.

This kind of celebrity fame is a result of good PR. If he was a middle aged, balding, not so good looking man, he would not be a hero. This applies to other people too, not just for militants. Sad, but such is the nature of fame. Especially internet fame.

Any Muslim can read Urdu and Farsi since Arabic is must for Muslim to read and recite and because of that they can read Urdu too...Fakes are every where...good point.

If knowing Urdu is a yardstick for being a Muslim, then @SarthakGanguly would become a Muslim and many Turkish, Iranian, Indonesian and Bangladeshi posters here would cease to be Muslims..

I did NOT present an "Indian Muslim" viewpoint - only an Indian viewpoint. I dare you to show a post in which I said "I'm an Indian MUslim, so believe me." I have not written a word that needs to come from a Muslim, to be credible.

I'll take the fact that my detailed posts are not being countered, and instead personal attacks are the only thing coming, as an indication that I've made my point well.
