I think USA does not attack North Korea because the worse thing that you can do to North Korea is to let their current leadership remain in power...

You seem to have got that correctly.
May be that is why USA will not attack Pakistan either, much to the 'disappointment' of some of our "ultra-paranoid" friends here!

America cannot attack Pakistan in the open , it can only do limited attacks using drones ... this topi drama in Abbotabad is an exception , its deeply embarrassing but most likely there was an understanding reached between the US and Pakistan to bring closure to the Osama bin laden witch hunt to provide the Americans the exit route from Afghanistan. Voices about withdrawal from Afghanistan within the US will now only get louder.

Push comes to shove, the American troops in Afghanistan are sitting ducks and we can rain down missiles on their bases in a matter of minutes.
No doubt such a confrontation is not in Pakistan's interest but equally its not in America's interest also

as far as you people and your terrorist proxies in the form of TTP and others are concerned, now there is enough national consensus against them to deal with them as complete enemies and the double digit casualties that we have started inflicting on them every time they have acted against the state over the past few months is a testament to the change in attitudes about wiping them off the face of the earth.

Without USA SUPPORT pakistan will fall into economic & poltical chaoS.

Either the USA WILL take out the nukes with a another special forces strike OR MORE LIKELY they will standby Pakistan and prop UP the current regime to avoid nukes getting into terrorists hands.

Overall the western world are fearful of the POTENTIAL CHAOS that a unstable Pakistan could cause to the world esp THE WEST

There are numerous conflicting reports...stories are being changed by the US administration and Pakistan......its possibly a 'DRAMA' staged.....could be a number of reasons:

It gives the US to declare victory and then start bringing its forces home (note the US is spending over $100 billion in Afghanistan alone to maintain its troops - its funding is difficult to sustain due to the bad US economic situation)

US/NATO forces have not achieved any significant impact of its 'invasion' of Afghanistan.....10 years of a war...that is currently seen as another 'vietnam' type humiliation....Afghanistan is nicknamed the GRAVEYARD OF EMPIRES...previous Soviet empire faced humiliation and NATO/US are or were heading in the same direction.

US pakistan relations and strategic interests had reached its peak.....none were to compromise on what each viewed their strategic interests...

US/NATO will start negotiating with the Taliban/Karzai for ending the conflict.....this will probably begin to happen after this 'DRAMA' subsides from the world media.....

Exactly How the heck do you expect US to just off????? they waited for almost 10 years for this moment.

The world most fcking dangerous terrorist was living IN Pakistan, AND If Pakistan cannot take them down, Other have NO choice but to go IN Pakistan and kill these terrorists.

The US is most welcomed to stay and watch their troubles multiply on both the military front and the economic front .. Anyway that will be their call to pull out or not and not of indians and afghanis [ and the voices getting louder for a pull out within the US ]

In addition, note US/NATO conflict within Afghanistan has been a very poor one....a 10 year conflict involving a Lone Superpower (USA) and the most powerfull military alliance in the world - NATO have been fighting an ill-equipped rag-tag militants.

Note the taliban have not been provided with sophisticated equipment, such as latest type of stinger/sa16 Gimlet etc SAM type weapons - if they were using this then there would have been tremendous damage and cost to the occupying forces.....I say this without arrogance or bravado. The US/NATO have been seen as a failure in this conflict globally.......if the sugestions that Pakistan is the next target with a population of approx 180 million people (with the vast majority that have anti-US feelings) means a recipe for disaster.....
