I totally agree whatever ISPR say the reality won't change at LOC, If NDTV is reporting 27 Pak soldiers sniped then actual figure can be anywhere between 22-32, but reality won't change,

I am in 2018, back then Indian media was reliable, the same holds true for 2018,
But given the track record of ISPR (1971, 1984, 1999, 2000s) only fools can trust their statements

indian media is know for it's jingoism,hyper nationalist fabricated news that only exists to malign Pakistan,China and all of her neighbors. However I'm curious to know why would they release such news like this? It seems like the situation on their side must be terrible and once in their lifetime they decided to be more pragmatic.

NDTV is quoting Indian intelligence agencies. Same agencies that boosted about "surgical strikes" about which even Indians don't know much. Same Indian military and its intelligence that is busy face saving since Uri attacks till today.

The year is 2018 and someone's 56 inch chest gets new holes everyday. This is the reality right now.

Ahh even if 1971 could help!!! Only one understrength battalion under a major with only 3 tanks put an entire Indian division with full armored, artillery and air support for days together in the East Pak (Battle of Hilly - made it into the texts taught in the military academies)!!!! And, that too after fighting insurgency for 9 moths at a place cutoff from the mainland by 1,000 miles, and facing 10x larger enemy, fully supported by the larger Super Power, without any proper air, artillery or armored support amidst 70m hostile folks!!!!!! Give me 5 such majors, and Pak's defense remains OK ('65 showed that).....
