NEW DELHI: Seven jawans were injured after terrorists opened fire at a BSF convoy in Pampore area near Srinagar on Tuesday, according to Times Now.

The BSF convoy was coming from south Kashmir when it was attacked by the terrorists.

Two BSF jawans were injured yesterday when Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions on the international border in Jammu district.

The attack also comes ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ladakh.

Six BSF Jawans Injured After Militants Attack Convoy Near Srinagar

Srinagar: Six jawans belonging to the Border Security Force (BSF) have been injured after militants attacked a convoy at Pampore, near Srinagar last night.

The BSF convoy was enroute from Pahalgam to Srinagar when the militants came out from a narrow lane and fired, before escaping.

All injured jawans have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

The attack comes just ahead of PM Modi's second visit to the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Leh and Kargil today.

There have been a spate of ceasefire violations in the past few weeks, including one on Sunday night when two BSF jawans were injured after Pakistani troops fired at their posts along the International Border in Jammu district.
