BGB arrests BSF man in Sunamganj for intrusion




Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) man along Narayantola border in Sunamganj Sadar upazila for intruding into the Bangladesh territory.

The detainee was identified as Chandra Prokash.

Lt Col Nasir Uddin, commanding officer of BGB-28 battalion, said BGB detained Chandra along with a wireless set and a firearm from near pillar-1216 around 1 pm while he was moving suspiciously, reports UNB.

Meanwhile, BSF sent a letter to BGB to talk on this matter

too old news...relax. BD-India border is very complex. For some people, their house is in BD but their backyard is in India. This kinda crossing between BGB/BSF/police on both sides happens a lot. They are normally released after due-process. No need to hype too much about it. we are not at war with India.

What balls you are talking about? Did not this BGB (BDR) killed 97 IA troops in 2001 Roumary border conflict? Official figure is only 16, though!!
