‘Brotherly’ countries turn down Pakistan’s request

now why does this news not surprise me, maybe because i realized a long time ago what was ment by the ummahs unity had been bombed to **** when the allies took down the Ottomon empire and then colonized the Muslim land and then left it with nationalism instead of their old sense of unity and now we are nothing but pieces on a chess board for the west to command........

Yes, the gloating from roy_gourav is quite sad.

I have noticed recently the ability he has of soft trolling and in particular the gloating. He is one of the first to cry when an anti indian thread appears - yet not only does he encourage the trolls by thanking them - he now starts the gloating procession.
Its about time Pakistan politicians start working on their own nation rather than going round the world for themselves and begging to line their own coffers. Time to implement change and use the tools they have to aid their economy and stop the embarrassment. Our nation never benefits anyway when aid is given.

I guess you already get better deal than others because of ummah thing.

It is the Pakistani politicians who are not implementing tax reform.

They prefer to play politics, when they should be implementing the necessary economic reforms.

as if the next day they implement it the pakistanis are going to line up in fron tof aaykar bhavan and pay their taxes..stop the excuses...and the demonizing the democratically elected govt for all ills...the people get a govt that they deserve...not the other way around..

By that logic, India deserves the politicians it currently has?

The most important thing, is to have a good system. All humans have good and bad in them, that can't be avoided.

What you can do, is create a good system, that puts the correct people in positions of power. A system with good checks and balances.

You took the words out of my mouth bro! Suppose there are elections round the corner so lets see what happens then. Lets see if the foundations can be made in concrete and build on them

Current political leaders of Pakistan need to be tried for treason. Begging and humiliating Pakistan is the least of their problems. We should and need to stand on our own feet.

In this modern day their are no free lunches and our leaders are stupid to think so. We would do better by selling a few nukes to Iran.

yes we deserve.....but the good things is we are changing for the better...cant say the same for pakistanis and for their democracy though...the primary concern of their politicians is not people or economy or national defence...its just how to save their kursi from the army....so no wonder....

anyway the point is....its become fashion to blame zardari an his govt for all the ills plaguing pakistan...while in reality it was not much different when he took power...

another thing...tis is the saudi response for pakistan trying to go ahead with iran on the iran pipeline....they seem to be saying..want irani oil..? forget arab oil....tough choice for pakistan...anyway i hope china will be there to guide pakistan through this crisis...

bs....this system of line or credit was there long before zardari came....but then i understand it is fashionable, in-the-group to blame zardari and his democratically elected govt for all evils...

Just why do you suppose Pakistanis keep electing these corrupt feudals? It's an unspoken contract. Everybody gets a tax holiday and people can keep complaining about bad governance.

But the root cause is lack of accountability. If people had faith in the government's accountability, they would pay taxes.

Does Pakistan have some kind of "Right to Information" act?

Pakistan should spend less money on defence to buy oil not on credit

In democracy, system is build by people(in indirect democracy, by representatives), does not come from outside.
We inherited some from british, used best practices from others which we thought will work(some do others dont).
And yes, Indians deserve the leaders they have, I will be the first to say that.

Kuwait, Saudi Arabia not to supply oil to Pakistan on long-term credit

Kuwait, Saudi Arabia not to supply oil to Pakistan on long-term credit - The Economic Times

Its a moment of truth.

I hope pakistani people realize that in real world what matters is money nothing else.

Pakistan always claims Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, china as its brothers. Now Kuwait, Saudi Arabia have came out of this brotherhood and now turkey, china remains. china is trying to make good relations with India and after seeing how china left his friends like Libya, Iran one can't bet on china.

And the things will changed drastically within 5-6 years which will be not favorable for pakistan.

We would do better by selling a few nukes to Iran.

Probably you should try that (AQK already, sort of, did that, albeit not as a state policy, I assume).

But, probably it will do you more harm (need I tell you how?) then any economic benefits...

Regards
