And to be honest, I dont know about you.

But marrying outside the community (specially non muslim) is pretty shameful & pathetic.

No Pakistani would feel joy rather anger and outright disgust at such a thing... cause of a thing called “Ghairat”.

In an exclusive interview with Geo News here, Johnson revealed that his wife is originally from Pakistan. "My wife (Marina Wheeler) originates from Pakistan, she is a Sikh and her parents were from Sargodha. She has been asking me to visit Pakistan since a long time but unfortunately I was unable to do so but I intend to visit the amazing country soon," Johnson had told Geo News in the interview.

I don’t think its surprising at all, modern day Turkiye is moving away from Islam, or has done for the most part. Which is saddening because thats the sanest muslim majority country that there is. Their lifestyle is pretty much westernised.
You are talking history...go to turkey now

You are talking history...go to turkey now

I last went there in 2018. I have not lived with Turkish people in Turkey, to know how much Islam they have in their life. I am talking from outside pov. When I went their I received nothing but love as soon as I would tell them I’m from Pakistan. At one point, the attention became too much and I started saying I was from Iran. That didn’t make much difference and one guy even started speaking few farsi things, which I had no clue about.

I was referring to what I have observed, being to turkey, having turk/azeri friends, watching their tv shows. I love and adore Turkey and would move there in a heartbreak if I could get an opportunity and I know some turkish already, so willing to learn the language by choice.

What I would say however, is Islam is not just a religion but a way of life/lifestyle. Now people can make whatever they want to with that statement.
