To me, Atheism is an extension of my individuality. I had doubts in my mind on the existence of god. In my teeage years I 'shopped' around for a faith. Looked into Islam, Christianity and other religions.

My Atheism to me was an individual journey that took me years of research to from.

To me, he proselytizes Atheism. Not a big fan of that.

I think he meant it in a way that 'even though Atheists agree with his ideology,' the atheists that disagree with him find his racism appalling.' I am pretty sure @That Guy intended that atheists and Pat may have the view on religion in terms of common grounds, but he is offensive on everythingelse, they don't find him appealing.

As long as an individual is happy and harms no one, it shouldn't matter what they believe in. That's what I've always believed.

No, what I meant was that he claims to represent the atheist movement, or at least a good chunk of it. Regardless of his large following on youtube, his most vocal critics are actually atheists.

You pretty much summed it up nicely. I personally don't even think he's an atheist, because of his support of the UKIP, which is a UK ultra-nationalist, ultra-christian racist, sexist group that oppose common sense. If he is an atheist, then he's doing a piss poor job of actually sticking to it.
