What' I'm going to say is going to piss a lot of Ummah brotherhood gang on PDF but this is purely my personal observation.
Turks/Iranians usually do not confuse religion with culture on the other hand Pakistanis adopt everything Arab including their conflicts, this way the religious conservative Pakistanis think they can become equal to Arabs. This explains Pakistan's internal conflicts where Shia-Sunni-Wahabi-Deobandi all vying for power and trying to appease outsiders. But the problem is Arabs do no see Pakistanis as equal but merely as ex Hindus from Indian subcontinent. In-fact Pakistanis are lower down the pecking order in the Islamic world, it goes Arabs at the top, then Turks, Iranians, White Muslims converts including Chechen/Dagestani and other Caucasian Muslims etc, Central Asian/Afghans, then comes Indonesians/Malays, Muslims from South Asia just about beat Black Muslims.
This is more of an Arab problem than anywhere else, don’t forget that they represent only 20% of the Muslim world and most of their countries have low populations and low influence as well.
From my own observations, Turks definitely have a positive opinion of Pakistanis and share much in common with us, ditto for all the European Muslims, Caucasus, CARs.
Persians have misconceptions about us due to propaganda/misconceptions and it’s sad that even though we are neighbors, we may as well not be as we don’t know each other that well. Once we get past that, the two of us get along great as we share much in culture and language.
As far as the rest, Africans and SE Asian Muslims are generally nice and hospitable people and have positive views of Pakistan. Somalians have very strong pro-Pakistan views due to our UN mission presence there.
As far as the Arabs, they don’t like any other Muslims much and resent that they have been surpassed historically and religiously by others.
Indian Muslims, half of Bangladeshis (BAL,) and Nationalist secular Afghans will always hate us to the core and we can’t really do much about it as they swallow wholesale the propaganda of our enemies.
Ummah is a religious concept from Prophet Muhammad saws and will exist regardless of the anti-unity actions of some Muslims. It applies to mu’mineen (true believers) who have left jahalat, share the same goals to further Islam, and desire to unite as one again.
