British have their issues with muslims at home thus I am not at all surprise.
@mike2000 is back what countries are those trouble causing muslims in UK from?
As for your first point, i already responded to that several times by saying what a proportion of our people think about another has nothing to do with how our leaders go about protecting/furthering our country's interests and making alliances. Its the same for basically every country in the world including your country China(or should i say Canada?). The leaders are the one who decide since they know better about world Geo-political realities and other complex secret/covert policies globally. There are several Geo-political issues which the common man never knows about, but which the leaders are aware of. In short they know far more about looking at things from the bigger picture/long term than common civilians who are often just emotional when something happens in the short term.
As for your second point,It is said that Pakistani, Bengali and Somali origin children are more often at risk of being radicalized in their own homes and are more prone to growing up being radicalized/brainwashed.
no one is stopping Asad to gain full control of Syria back.
LOL. What is left of Syria? NOTHING i'm afraid. It will never be the same country it was before and if you think Assad will remain in power until he dies like his father and rule over a united Syria, then i think you might be dreaming.
He has himself to blame as well for his country's current situation, since he openly supported these Jihadists/terrorists groups(Al Qaeda included) as recently as 2008. lol It seems Chickens have come home to roast.
Anyway, he will be lucky if he can keep his country in one half again, ruling over all of it and getting rid of all his opponents like he often did before the civil war is all but impossible today. He should just organize a parody of an election and let someone else win so he can gracefully cede power and calm things down so his country can even start having a chance of knowing peace back again. Though i know that's wishful thinking, since i know these dictators crave for power more than even their lives, reminds me of some sub-saharan African leaders/dictators who will rather die/destroy their whole country than give up power to someone else.
