Bringing the different factions together as one in Pakistan

Not including the Chinese or Turks, Pakistanis need to immediately stop referring to non-Pakistanis, be they Muslims or otherwise as "brothers" or "sisters". We need to rid ourselves with these Childish habits.

PK4EVER think about this. You belong to a family. you work for your family. A family is about drawing lines. You place some within and rest outside. Maybe you have three circles. The inner one is your family, the next one your extended family, the next one your friends and all others come outside that.

Now imagine you wake up in the morning. You go to work but along the way you see some strangers who need help. You start helping them out. Then in the afternoon you get to work. When you finish you collect your daily wage. On the way you see some hungry people so you give part of your wage to them. You go shopping for family grocery but as you come out you see needy people and you give some of your shopping to them. Then near your home you see a fight. Bunch of hooligans are beating one guy up so you jump in to help. You get your head kicked in. Then battered, tired and bruised you walk through the front door. Your kids are hungry, the gas has been cut off and your wife is annoyed. But you feel satisfied because you done it for humanity. As you sit feeling hungry but content a brick comes crashing through your window. It is one of those guys who was beating that stranger. You have made a bunch of enemies today.

The next day you wake up and repeat the same pattern. Question: How long is your family going to last? And what progress is your family going to make? Pakistan is akin to such a disfunctional family.

That is the best analogy yet of Pakistan and Pakistani people. The ONLY way to overcome this is to become cold and indifferent to non-Pakistanis and their problems just as they are to us.

PS In the above analogy, you could also add that the person the man defended and got beaten up for also turns against the good Samaritan.

When I joined this forum back in 2018 I wanted to learn from all factions and beliefs of various Pakistanis in the diaspora and in Pakistan but I came to understand fairly quickly that this is a diaspora den living in anywhere outside of Pakistan you dont really fit here or there in Pakistan anyways I really think Culture war nonsense has to be minimal Pak needs to focus on themselves first and there isnt going be to be any Islamic country that is gonna lead us be the Turks,Persians or Arabs they are too nationalistic

In economics, Adam Smith said that society benefits most when everyone strives to do the best for themselves. John Nash came along and said society does best when everyone strives for what is best for themselves and the group.

We can hold on to common principles, to strive for a better common future with the world, but I agree it is high time we focus on doing what is best for us. I also agree the culture war needs to be resolved on a principled basis so the business of achieving sustained 5-10% annual growth can be achieved, and the domestic and international implications of that will open up new avenues for Pakistan.

This forum maybe filling with alot (but not exclusively) of people from the diaspora, but it is a voluntary forum of enthusiastic supporters of the nation. Through dialogue, hopefully some ideas comes about that can help expedite national development.

As a Pakistani you are either with us or against us. If you are with us then join the fight.
If you are against us then prepare to die

Pakistan sent the Indian pilot across the border like a brother. The army should have left him to the local villagers.

So by your assertion, the "Ummah Chummah" brigade in Pakistan who want to serve the interest of non-Pakistanis doesn't exist?........ :azn:
Why don't you just list the different factions and their priorities? Easy to ride the bandwagon

Why not Pakistani Hindus? If they are our citizens, they need to be included just like anyone else. The whole point is to show that under our system they are better off then if they align with India. It also creates a permanent underclass in our society, which is morally wrong and also geo strategically dangerous.

Look at the Muslims in France. Alienation breeds only problems.

We don’t have an all Green flag. We need to remember all the people the white part represents. I remember the words of Mervyn Leslie Middlecoat of the Pakistan Air Force to his daughter, which she relayed later in life;

I never knew the colours are meant to represent that... Thanks for sharing the video.
