No doubt there are many questions in others mind too and there are many organizations working for the restoration Khilafah. But there is a solid fact on which everybody agree.
When we will have Caliphs like Abu Bakr (RA), Umer (RA), Usman (RA) and Ali (RA) caliphate would be restored.
Does the saying of Iqbal (RA) has more value than the saying of Muhammad (PBUH)? (nauzubillah)
The Prophet never 'established' the caliphate..
His successor was nominated in Abu Bakr.. and so and so forth..
your understanding of the basic history then is incorrect.. so is all of those that claim to establish caliphates.
Moreover.. the Prophets nomination had two perspectives..
to maintain religious and political leadership..
Can you guarantee both in any person now?
All these organizations are FLAWED, and misled at the very base of their movement.
They all are looking to establish a political caliphate, where there is not even a religious one.
Without a religious agreement how can you have a political caliphate under Islam?
You are living the fantasy of finding caliphs like the Ashrah Mubashrah..
Get up from your dreams, its not happening..
The best kings we had , who were close to this material.. some of them have their graves near the Nullahs of Lahore.. where no one treads to even offer fatehah to these great men.
When your people are so astray in their religion that they murder and maim in its name at the slightest provocation without even knowing why..
You are have zero basis for a caliphate..
and all those who trying to establish one with the current approach in mind are damned fools.. bigger fools than the likes of Ramses and every fool mentioned in the history books.
You need to reestablish religious understanding..
That is what Iqbal was trying.. and the countless people of knowledge(and not recitation as there are many parrots out today with parroted false sermons) that have followed similar lines of thought.
You cannot establish a caliphate without understanding the Quran for yourself, and learning about the life of the prophet..
for there are many who will claim to have done so before you and you will accept their fishing hook into being mislead.
A Muslim is of the times.. and speaks with the times in mind..
he is not an archaic fool like the many who preach today.. that he would prefer the abacus evn if a calculator was present.
He is one who makes decisions and evolves himself to practice his being in lieu of the times.
The times dont call for a political caliphate when Islam is under attack both internally and externally.. they call for a reinforcing of our beliefs, of our understanding of the Quran and Sunnah..
A caliphate sits on these foundations.. and these foundations today are wrought with decay, termites and rust..
Only idiots build houses on crumbling foundations...and as a Muslims..I pray not to be counted among idiots on the day of judgement.
