Yeah once ready it'll have no shortage of fire powers especially for Air to Air roles. Anyway R-73 with HOBS and python-5( some say python-5 is only comparable to aim-9x) will bring its wvr capability to next level.

Not sure of that. But surely Pakistan was busily training people to get bombed by Tejas.

With very short turning radius and with long ranged missiles Tejas MK1 gonna be a some serious threat to jf17 J10 B and F16 . MK1 is more than enough to replace old MIGs. With AESA radar EW suit and more fine tunning could make tejas a weapon which win wars for sure.

Apart from Python and Derby, Tejas has in weapon menu Russian-made CCM R-73, laser-guided bombs (LGB) Griffin and Paveway and Russian-made gun Gsh-23.

That's saying what other weapons tejas has.. FB page confirmed that Gsh23 firing as per FOC is now postponed to Mark1a testing parameters.

I do remember ground firing test done in June 2015 like this
