India can give them shit. China is already available and ready to invest Billions in Afghanistan. Far more than India is worth. Pakistan is the natural neighbour and most suited supplier of goods & services. Afghanistan has a large part of formal and informal trade with Pakistan. Pakistan has hosted Afghans as refugees, treated their injured or sick, offered them economic gains, Pakistan and China can offer far more development in Afghanistan than India ever can, plus we won't want anything in return, just regional connectivity & stability. I have no issue if Afghans benefit from positive Indian contribution as well, as far as the "contribution" is not for proxy war gains. India must learn to move forward as a civilized neighbour, its high time.

Smart move by Taliban. They need all the investment and help they can get. Why not from India too?

Afghanistan, since 9/11, had been a bonus-gain for India to inflict pain on Pakistan. And succeed India did, thanks to the patronage of Uncle Sam's presence in Afghanistan! But India need no fear a Taliban rule in Afghanistan. I don't see any real chances of Pakistan using the Afghanistan to inflict pain on India. Pakistan has enough jihadi cadres inside Pakistan IF Pakistan needs the 'irregulars'. And Pakistan is wide-enough to not worry about Indian incursion in any HIGHLY UNLIKELY conventional war--Pakistan doesn't need any 'strategic depth' via Afghanistan.

India and Pakistan should come to some 'live and let live' arrangement in Kashmir, India should join OBOR, shelve India-China border disputes and the region moves on!
